Let alone Captaincy, how does he qualify as a player
An uncapped or not regular squad player if given Captaincy should have good track record or attitude or show potential. I see only arrogance in him
Abysmal Form: He's averaging ~12.20 (61 runs in 6 matches). It's hard to respect the captain when he isn't leading by example with the bat.
“Main Character" Shot Selection: Kris Srikkanth absolutely roasted him for throwing his wicket away against RCB. Critics feel he’s prioritizing looking stylish over actually playing the situation responsibly.
Ego-Driven Tactics: His on-field decisions are raising eyebrows. Case in point: opting to bowl himself against SRH and KKR while completely ignoring a veteran weapon like Jadeja. Looks more like stubbornness than strategy.
