I am going to replace the sticks in my little R36H- but how will I go about calibrating them when I'm done? I see so many people who put new sticks in their R36S and just say "its amazing!!! so much better!!" But they never mention calibration, as I know on the Nintendo Switch you have to calibrate them?
So a while ago I posted about building original games onto the R36S using monogame, I struggled a bit with getting a build running so I went to Godot.
After scouring forums, scraps of tutorial and reddit comments I managed to get a build running. After some optimisation I got this simple scene to render at 52fps with shadows etc.
The best bet is to stick with 2D or when developing for 3D to disable shadows and set the rendering resolution to 75% (like in the image) as it will struggle with proper scenes.
If anyone is interested I can make a tutorial on how to build and run godot games on the R36S using PortMaster. 😁
Loading and 3D cutscene are a bit slow. Gameplay is fine.

This is for the R36S Clone(fake) GB350, v2.6, "R36HD" consoles. Below PS1 seems fine but because of the lower end CPU and lesser RAM it does top out on some of the PS1 games and is unable to play N64 or PSP
Just temper your expectations and do NOT expect newer games like Gran Turismo 2 to work
78 of the 94 games tested were playable (~83%)

перед прошивкой - закинул все игры на комп (вроде)

Im looking to buy my first console and Im stuck between these two. Im leaning more towards the R46H as I can get it for cheaper and they seem to be the same thing minus the inline/stacked shoulder buttons.
I want to hear from the community if there are some major differences or bad experiences/ known issues with the R46H or R36H ProMax before I lock one in

I just flashed ArkOS R3XS V2.0 (11072025) on my genuine R36S today, only to find out that the repository was archived on March 24, 2026 and that dArkOS has officially replaced ArkOS.
I'm a bit confused about the current state of things:
Is dArkOSRE-R36 considered stable enough for daily use? For those who switched from ArkOS R3XS to dArkOSRE, was it worth it?
Any noticeable improvements in emulator performance (especially N64 and Saturn)?
Any advice appreciated

Recently, I accidentally dropped my console on the floor, and this happened. Is there any way to fix it? Or anywhere that sells a new screen?
When I try to connect my console to the internet via USB from my phone using the OTG cable, the option to share internet via USB doesn't appear.
hey y'all I finally got a R36s yesterday it's a clone but works well the issue I'm having is the speaker, sometimes when I turn the console on the speaker is very low in volume even though it's at Max in the settings and then halfway through a game sometimes it will cut out and then come back in later it's very annoying I've tried to multiple different firmwares thinking it might be a software issue but this point I'm assuming it's a hardware issue, just wondering if anyone knows where I could purchase a replacement speaker for it or even what the easiest speaker to place in it without soldering would be?

I tried several image files, DarkOS, and ArkOS, and after installing with Rufus, this is what I see... I can't find the BOOT partition, not even to assign a drive letter. Am I missing something? Can I install it in my R36S?
Notes:
- New SD card.
- I also tried formatting it beforehand using 'SD card Formatter' and nothing.
- The card that came with it shows both partitions normally, and I've already backed them up.
I had been seeing lots of tutorial videos but have never foreseen this. I am going to stick to the stock ROM for now (Flashed the disk image into a better SD card). I can't really research and experiment more now on the device as I have exams in about a week (Bought it just a few days ago due to the hype). However, I would like to know what I should do about this. (Sorry if bad English, not my first language.)
Because it instantly shuts down on mine. I don't know if I can check log somewhere. It runs fine with ArkOS though... maybe additional question, what latest firmware you successfully run on Teensy 4.1. I wasn't able to run higher than v4.
