I saw the new League of Legends skin for Irelia and it almost made me cry. Irelia has like 100 high-quality skins, while Quinn gets whatever leftover rejected ideas they had from a decade ago. Poor thing is the bird everyone laughs at.
Nice drone, Riot games.
At least Quinn looks cool, I personally like the visor. Just wish the chromas changed VFX but oh well, riot missing on some money I guess
I'm super excited about the new Quinn jungle, but before it's released, I'm still wondering which runes I should use. Playing in lane makes choosing runes easier because you prioritize things that kill your enemy, but I feel like with the jungle, since there's hardly any early combat, it's not the same. What I had was Fleet Footwork, Triumph, Bloodline, and Coup de Grace with Biscuit (for maximum health) and Cosmic (for faster Smite) as secondary runes. What do you think?
P.S.: If you could also recommend items, that would be great. I was thinking of starting with Hydra for lethality, but I'm not sure.

Just a reminder that PBE changes are not final and subject to change. Some changes, such as bugfixes, may not be able to be viewed.

I have been testing Quinn jg today a bit, i think It feels really bad compared to mid ngl, but im gold in flexso whatever works, has anyone figured out a half decent first clear yet? I can't seem to get under 2:58
MarshmalIow#NA1 here, back with another theorycraft build for Quinn for the folks who prefer her duelist playstyle over the assassin one. The TLDR is that kraken into phantom dancer is a highly affordable, consistent, and satisfying 2 item powerspike for a duelist Quinn build that I highly recommend you checking out.
Kraken provides a balanced mix of damage and attack speed, as well as 4% MS. Its build path is also very consistent, unlike Stormrazor or Yuntal, whose components don't give AD spikes unless you have 1300 gold for BF sword. PD as the second item here brings the spaceglide build to life, offering 65% attack speed, the ghosting passive, and a whopping 10% MS, all for the low price of 2650 gold. After PD, I'll finish tier 2 boots (usually swifties, unless enemy is full ad or extremely cc heavy).
These core items combined with PTA, alacrity, cut down, and celerity give you both high consistent DPS and mobility for chasing and kiting. I have also been really liking exhaust as an all-round utility dueling summoner spell. It can be used offensively, for surviving early all-ins, and outplaying/shutting down high damage threats on the enemy team. Otherwise ghost and ignite are solid options too, if you need to match enemy ghost or need early heal cut.
The rest of the build is standard crit items based on what you need in the game - typically 3rd item will be LDR or mortal. Then you can go damage (IE, hexoptics, BT, etc.), utility (immortal, GA, randuins, maw, kaenic, etc.), or a mix of both.
I'll also take this time to follow-up on my initial on-hit Hail of Blades theorycraft post, as I've now had a chance to properly test things out. Long story short, the new HOB is unfortunately eclipsed by other keystones once you pass around level 3, with the difference in power being especially felt at higher levels. I saw that other masters+ players have been trying to make HOB work for attack speed Quinn, but my read is that HOB doesn't give as consistent of results compared to PTA or lethal. Quinn just doesn't have a built-in on-hit like vayne/varus/kaisa, who can take advantage of the HOB autos better. The only time I'd consider running HOB now is into matchups with volatile lvls 1-3 such as Irelia.
I also tested out Stormrazor and Voltaic and have come to the sense that they are bait items for an attack speed build. They simply offer less consistent damage and MS than Kraken PD - and the lethality build just bursts better 9 times outta 10. At first glance, stormrazor seems like it would work with an attack speed duelist build. But storm razor in a 2 item spike doesn't offer enough attack speed to glide during the MS steroid - so you end up sacrificing either dps or the MS and resorting to an un-ideal poke/hit-and-run/burst playstyle. The passive offers high utility but lower overall DPS and dueling potential. And again, unless you can consistently survive until 5 minutes to back with 1300 gold for BF, the other components of Stormrazor are just so bad, and feel even worse if you have both of them instead of BF. Voltaic is even more of a burst item and provides no attack speed, so it is out of the question as a first or second item here. Crit / utility items are just way more valuable late game, so it isn't as good to pick up voltaic late.
If you'd like to see the build/playstyle in action, I saved one of my vods (apologies in advance for low quality). Otherwise feel free to give it a shot and lmk what you guys think. Any questions or comments are welcomed. Happy gliding everyone 🙏
I am on a mission to turn all 172(and counting) champions into pixel art sprites. Here is #33/172, Quinn, Demacia's Wings.
Hello there fellow Quinn lovers, I'm valorkyrie_quinn on Instagram. Some may know me as a long time Quinn main since 2016. I've been really inactive recently cause nothing in this game sparks me anymore. Still, I regularly check if there's any new Quinn content going online.
When I saw this skin, I cannot simply express my disappointment with merely words towards rito, when they don't really deliver skins in good quality nor listen to feedback after 1300+ days since Quinn's last skin. I've been checking on the post every day to see if there were any new fixes to improve the skin.
Many of us Quinn Mains have voiced our opinions and suggestions under the thread, truly thank you all for your contribution :D
Sadly there's no update, I wish the skin team could really (1) fix chroma & Harrier color match, (2) add a little cape, (3) improve Valor graphic & chroma color match on W. Mask toggle is optional but would be a great touch.
I think these 3 points are the major complaints about the skin under the feedback thread.
Hey fellow bird enthusiasts! 🦅
For a bit of context: I’ve been playing League since 2016 and I used to be a Kayle OTP (mostly Mid, but as we all know, queuing Mid/Top means you're playing Top 40% of the time). In the 2022-2023 seasons, I peaked at GM/low Challenger. I’m really proud of that, but I ended up taking a 3-year break.
I came back to the game 6 months ago (my main account MMR is currently around Master ~40 LP). For the last half-year, I’ve been completely lost trying to find a new champion to OTP. Nothing clicked, and I just didn't feel that inner spark of fun.
Then, completely by accident, I played Quinn. I swear, since 2016 I have never paid attention to this champion. She’s rarely seen, meta or not. But after that one random game, I completely fell in love with her skillset, how hard she can dominate the mid-game, and just how incredibly fun it is to fly across the entire map.
Since I wanted to learn her properly, I hopped on my old alt account that was sitting at Plat 4 with only 5 games played. I decided to play strictly Quinn to see how I'd do in slightly lower elo. Well, today I just hit Diamond 4 in 66 games, maintaining a 68% win rate (and surprisingly, a positive KDA!).
I wanted to share a few of my observations as a fresh Quinn enjoyer:
• The initial learning curve was rough: My first 5 games were an absolute nightmare. I got it into my head that I had to use my mobility as early and as often as possible. Ironically, as a former Kayle OTP, I completely neglected my farming. I was also terrified of using my 'E' because I kept messing it up, at least until I spent some time in the Practice Tool to actually understand how it works. Going 10 deaths with 100 CS at 30 minutes was a wake-up call to change my approach.
• Top Lane Quinn: I think she is a fantastic counterpick. But when blind-picking or OTPing her, my goal for the early game is just to go even (or slightly ahead/behind). I absolutely love rushing Kraken Slayer on Top—it really helps punch through most standard toplaners.
• Mid Lane Quinn (My true love): This is where she truly shines for me and why I love her so much. I actually feel she is slightly easier to blind pick Mid than Top. It's a bit easier to survive until your first item. Against control mages or champs with one specific CC, I love rushing Edge of Night. You sacrifice a bit of wave push, but the spell shield is invaluable.
• Matchups & Bans: For Mid, my permaban is Malzahar. He will just spam push you into oblivion and make the game miserable. The rest of the mid matchups feel very survivable—you can just opt to be non-interactive if needed. For Top lane, my permaban is Irelia. I honestly just don't want to learn this matchup, it's way too discouraging for me haha.
• Playstyle & Build: In games where I see I can dominate and carry, I play very selfishly. I focus heavily on myself, my farm, taking as much gold as possible, and just catching out lost, isolated people on the map. My absolute favorite build path right now is Profane Hydra -> Edge of Night -> Lord Dominik's Regards (or Mortal Reminder if I need anti-heal). For my last two situational items, I usually pick between Serpent's Fang (for shields), Infinity Edge, Stormrazor, or Maw of Malmortius.
• The Snowball: But oh my god... once you get 2-3 kills and completely dominate the enemy laner, the fun is unmatched. The possibilities are endless. You just take over and dominate the entire map.
I'm definitely going to continue this journey. After these 66 games, I have the urge to play 166 more!
So here is my question/discussion for you guys: Do you have any advice or your own stories with Quinn? I would love to hear why you main her, and learn more about your specific playstyles on our bird dominator!
Thanks for reading!
BrandKing here and contrary to my nick my first main in league was Quinn and I always played her in the jungle since her release
I don't think anyone has as much games as me in the jungle with her and/or played her exclusively to reach GM
I will otp her as soon as the patch hits and will only play it jungle, Quinn jungle playstyle and feel is like nothing else in the game, the freedom, the roaming, the constant pressure and tracking requirement the non being able to safely splitpush, everything about the pick it's a terror for the enemy team if you know what you're doing
Quinn only problem was the clear speed and since they buffed the camp hp a couple seasons ago the pick got deaded but now we are so back!
It's not probably gonna be a S tier pick or even an A and I'm ok with that since I want it to not be banned, but even then if its not top tier just play it it's by far the best role for Quinn trust me on this, there is no other champ in the game that can do what Quinn jungle does, shit is pure cocaine
I used to go mostly PTA- stormrazor first into crit build since its better to 1v9 regardless of enemy comp but I will test alot of builds and will see if that's still the case
Found some old pics with some Quinn jg games from a few years ago: https://imgur.com/a/9oTrBhm
I will stream it the whole thing on twitch unsure if I can link but you can find it in my comment history or from a quick search
If you have any questions shoot, I'll be glad to answer
Omg it is finally here.
This is the best news I've heard in league like ever!
Though R changes being added alongside don't really make sense xD she actually didn't have many mana problems in the jungle... Though maybe that was me being conversvative and taking longer on monsters without the other 2 main jungle buffs.
Fk I'm so happy
Wether it be Quinn mains or other players, I saw a lot of people complaining about the fact Quinn receives a buff in jungle and I don't understand it
Most people don't wanna see her toplane, not every Quinn player play her mid or other lane, she's not viable everywhere but one thing I know is that I heard really often people wanted to play her jungle.
But now that she get the capability to play jungle some Quinn mains are mad and some people say it's a toxic champ now ganking every lane (while it's already a roaming champ)
So please explain to me I don't get it.
Top and mid lane matchup, grouped by laning phase difficulty (first 15mins).
S = Lose no matter what
A = Difficult, but can win (outplay or item)
B = Manageable if dominated before lvl 6
C = Easy
D = Free LP
The front and back of my self-made Star Guardian Quinn cosplay :3
Every time I've faced Nasus, I've done terribly. Sometimes I don't do as badly as others, but when he lands the Ghost and ultimate combo, he destroys me, and even your speed can't help you survive. The best option would be to ban him every time, but my usual ban is Yorick, who I also struggle with a lot. What do you recommend I do as a Quinn one-trick pony to at least survive lane without feeding Nasus?
There's also the possibility that I'm just really bad, but let's assume that's not the case.

Hi! I don't play Quinn too much but I dabble in a little bit of Quinn support gameplay. I've always thought it was weird that she was supposed to be a recon champion but Ashe actually does that better than her.
So I ask you guys since you know the champ better than me, how exactly could they make Quinn a recon (at least as an alternative gameplay) without doing a full VGU which will never happen because riot clearly hates the bird lady?
My best guess would be to add AP ratios on all her spells and make the W cooldown (or duration) scale with AP. Ratios don't have to be huge, just enough for her to make use of support items like Shurelya or Imperial mandate
