i had meta horizon plus for free for 3 months, and after it expired, now i cant even play those games that were on meta horizon plus even if i download the pirated versions of those games, like climb 2, eleven table tennis, and more

As the title says, I had a meta horizon+ subscription before and installed job simulator and the climb 2 and immediately uninstalled and removed them from my library when my subscription ended. However , recently, I tried to download those two using rookie and they don't show in unknown sources but the regular library, asking me to renew my subscription no matter how many times I try to reinstall. Will I need a new meta account that never had a subscription if I want to play these two?

Hey, I’ve had a Quest 2 that I used a lot in 2024. Since then I kept it in airplane mode and only played Beat Saber and a few other games offline. Totally wasn’t following any news what’s happening.

Now I want to update to the latest version and buy Thrill of the Fight 2 to play online with a friend.

What’s the current situation with cracked APKs? Are there any risks of bans or issues if I go online while having something like a cracked Beat Saber installed?

Would appreciate any up to date info. Thanks!

I installed rookie sideloader 3.2 at first it was showing "7z couldnt run on windows" errors i tried moving it into a an old RSL folder then it worked but no games were showing i tried using VPN restarting my quest and pc but it doesnt seem to work

I just tired to install an app but it just said error: device offline. and earlier i received another error when I tried installing something else. It said something about it not being able to read the size of the OBB file on my device or something? Im not really sure. what do these errors mean? Am I missing something? I don't remember having any issues when I used the original rookie.

I'm not sure if its because its cracked or the maybe the game won't work on a Quest 2. The Boys: Trigger Warning, the screen moves with my head so I can't look around, i tried changing the setting to move with body but it didn't fix the issue.

So as you can see theres loads of files here that are the same in my downloaded section and im hoping i can just delete the copies and save a lot of space. If not can someone explain what this really is? thanks.

I’ve been saying that file donations weren’t connected to the new group yet and that has officially been changed with the RSL v3.2 release. https://github.com/nerdunit/androidsideloader/releases/latest

What this means:
If you own games that aren’t on the server and the app asks for them, choosing “yes” will now send those files to the correct place automatically. That pipeline is finally working as intended.

I’m currently working on getting file donations fully functional in ApprenticeVR.

• I forked the mula-bb ApprenticeVR fork (which itself was forked from my original fork… which I deleted 😅) https://github.com/mula-bb/apprenticeVrSrc
• Goal: keep this tool as useful as Rookie, but expand support across more operating systems
• I’ve already submitted a PR with some quality-of-life updates, but haven’t heard back https://github.com/mula-bb/apprenticeVrSrc/pull/3

At this point, I’ll likely continue development on my own fork instead of waiting on PR approvals.

Not everyone may have seen this yet, but the new server owner has launched:

This site lets you:

• See what’s available and updated
• Identify what’s missing and is in need of donating
• Track what updates on the quest store and what updates on the server
• Donate via crypto

Future: Token-Based Donations

A token-based donation system is coming.

• You’ll be able to submit your Oculus token through your account on the site
• This allows direct access to your owned library without manually uploading files

⚠️ Important:

• This gives full access to your Meta account
• If you’re not comfortable with that, don’t do it

That said, if you have a large library, this is easily the most efficient way to contribute. I’ll personally be using it since I own 100+ Quest titles.

For smaller libraries or anyone unsure, manual uploads are still the "safer" route.

That’s where things stand right now. Big step forward on the donation side 🚀
