Should we change the Community Megathread?
A PR was submitted to replace the current HTML-based site with a Zensical version:
https://github.com/KaladinDMP/QP-Megathread/pull/53
So apparently the solution to “people don’t edit HTML” is to… redesign the entire site.
I’ll be honest, I don’t love the new version. Even on a 5120x1440 screen it somehow manages to feel both busy and empty at the same time, which is kind of impressive.
That said, the original goal of this project was to be community-driven and actually editable by people other than me. And right now, contributions are pretty thin. So clearly something isn’t working.
I personally find HTML easy, but I get that not everyone wants to touch it. If Zensical actually gets more people to contribute instead of just lurk, then yeah, that’s a real argument.
Do I love the design? Not really.
Do I love the delivery of the feedback? Also no.
Is the core point wrong? Unfortunately… not really.
Does my opinion matter? Not at all.
Am I going to give it anyways? You bet ya
But let’s settle it properly:
Which version do you actually prefer, and more importantly, which one would you actually contribute to instead of just having opinions about?
