Do they only come with the magnet option? I don't see any without it on their site or on Amazon.
I have 2 car quadlock mounts. I attack my phone for navigation. I am about to change phones and for the phone I will get there is no quadlock case and the universal adapter will be to clunky/big.
Is there some accessory for my card holder, that removes the classic "quad lock mount" and just provides the magnetic ring?
The phone will have an iron ring (and not a magnet, i assume), so the quad lock accessory should add the magnetic part. Just to hold, I don't need wireless charging. If I anyways have to use a cable, I will put it directly into the phone (most times I won't need it).
I don't want to have a phone case. I don't want to stick the numb to my phone with adhesive. My wife already bought quadlock for our bike, so I'm in the universe. I would like something like this.
I guess I could buy a phone pouch and then attach the universal plug to it. Anyone do something like this?
What with the fuel prices, I've been commuting more on my bike. As I work at various sites, I'm in need of a phone mount for my bike (human powered).
I already have this Scosche mount in my car: https://www.halfords.com/technology/mobile-phone-accessories/car-phone-holders/scosche-magic-mount-select-ms-dash%2Fvent-383611.html
This mount uses a magnetic ring stuck to the dash and a ferous metal ring stuck to the back of my phone case.
My question is, if I get the mag case for my Galaxsy S21 Ultra and an out front mount for my bike - could one go from car to bike without having to replace the car mount?
I've read about some experiences with the mag ring popping out, as both faces would be magnetic, I'm guessing this could be a likely occurrance.
All up cost for car to bike compatibility would otherwise be close to £100!
TIA
Does anybody have a quad lock mounted for a GSXR 1000?
I’ve used quad locks on all my bikes, and recently purchased a GSXR. Obviously, I was looking to attach my fork stem mount, but there is actually nowhere to install it. I believe that the middle piece is a solid nut, which shouldn’t be removed as it’s part of the triple tree clamp?
I’ve looked for adaptors, with no luck, as they all require some form of fork stem mount. I’ve asked Quad Lock support and they don’t think a mount is feasible for this bike.
Can anyone help?
Hi all,
I current run a setup on my motorcycle with the “Motorcycle - USB Charger” (https://www.quadlockcase.eu/products/usb-charger-motorcycle?srsltid=AfmBOooncdUSSxLBBqWQtFdLVmHoaaUW9b0ijlDCIQhntQX\_wv0hgJvC) hardwired to the ignition/battery. Sometimes it’s charging, but often not (enough), so I end up with a dead phone battery.
I recently purchased the “USB Waterproof Wireless Charging Head” (https://www.quadlockcase.eu/products/motorcycle-waterproof-wireless-charging-heads?selected=eyJvcHRpb24xIjoiUUxILVdQLVdDSCJ9). I now want to connect it to my motorcycle battery and I believe there are 2 options:
Has anyone done option (2) and hardwired it to the ignition cable to the motorcycle battery? I prefer that method as there are les connections (waterproof connector, usb connector, smart adapter, SAE connector) which could cause issues.
Ps. I already have the usb connection hardwired to the ignition (so it’s not working if ignition is not switched on), so I want to replace that with the “cycling power cable”.
I’m curious to see if anyone has experience or preferences? Thanks!
Hi, all! Just bought my first BMW - a new-to-me 1996 R 1100 RS. I'm installing a hard-wired quadlock phone charger with vibration dampener and plan to use my phone for navigation. The previous owner had an old Garmin GPS unit hard-wired directly to the battery terminals with an inline fuse, so I can follow that approach if necessary.
What I'd really like to do, above and beyond that, is ensure the unit is only powered when the ignition is on, perhaps using a relay switch setup. Obviously I need to avoid risking harm to any of the bike's electrical systems (ECU, fuel injection, ABS, etc).
I've found very little information online about exactly how to do this, and appreciate any advice I can get!
Hi team, hope all is well with you. Just checking if anyone of you have discount codes in Canada. Trying to find a quadlock for my bike. Thanks in advance 🙏🏻
