2:30 am craving and made top ramen curry with roohafza. Oh man this hit the right amount of dopamine :)

As a certified chole bhature lover, I had to try Nagpal’s in Kharadi since they’re a Delhi-based brand known for chole bhature.

But ngl, it was kinda underwhelming for me. Bhature was PERFECT, fluffy, thick, super good. But the chole tasted a bit too mild, low on salt, and I could lowkey taste baking soda too.

Now pls give me your best chole bhature recommendations in Pune. Need the spicy, flavorful kind 🤌

Breakfast at Wohuman ☕was really fulfilling that got me through the entirety of Dhurander...

MARZORIN 🥪 was light and fluffy I should've taken a few more sandwiches..

PASTEUR 🍦ka softy was refreshing amidst the heat..

Yumma Swamy MKC 🤬...I ordered a garlic roast dosa and after the guy served I was confused as to why there's no batata bhaji inside...Later I asked and he said it's an add-on and needs to be ordered separately..Never in my 25yrs of life have I seen such absurdity 😂 Even my ofc ke bahar ka thelewala repeats the sabji free of cost.

PUNE Zhartosti🥧 was also good to eat but by that time I was already full😮‍💨 and couldn't eat anymore..

P.S : What does Zhartosti means?

Lastly as I was already at the SGS mall after wandering around and short on time for Meridian so went to Naturals for a scoop and called it a day..

A redditor from our group had an idea of conducting a Potluck at home; something which we had never tried before as Meets are generally held at Restaurants.

Everyone liked the concept and decided what they would cook and bring to the meet.

Wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that each and every item was absolutely delicious.

Was feeling bit melancholic on Saturday, so decided to treat myself. Picked up my helmet and keys and rode from Baner to KP at night.

1st Stop: Momoka-Kissaten

Tried Raspberry and Grapefruit soda and Chicken Katsu Sando. Chicken was amazing. So tender and juicy. The Katsu crumb was done really well. Soda was amazing too.

2nd Stop: Una Gelato (nearby)

Had Stracciatella Gelato, was by far the best gelato I’ve had till now.

A solid 10/10 evening.

Don't know why people still go there.

This place is overhyped af.

Tried their veg as well as non veg both are tasteless.

Suggest some good alternatives

Bangalore Tiffin Room on SB Road is one of my go to dosa point.

Yesterday spotted their Baner branch for the first time (no idea when it started)

Tried the Garlic Roast Masala Dosa, taste was good, seating is spacious and open, but service could be better.

Bought a packet after a really long time because it used to be one of those classic Pune snacks you could trust blindly. But this time the moment I opened it, the smell of stale/bad oil hit immediately. The taste also felt completely off compared to how it used to be years ago.

What’s sad is this isn’t just about one brand anymore. Feels like so many old food places that once had genuine quality and consistency are now focused only on mass production and profits. The soul, freshness, and standards that made people loyal in the first place are slowly disappearing.

Old Punekars will probably understand what I’m talking about.

AVOID CAMP BURGER‼️

Yesterday I shared the incident in which a cockroach leg was found and this happened just a few days after that a whole cockroach was found.

They listened to the customer and instead of half a leg(half protein) they served full protein.

Be safe and stay away from these overrated, tasteless and unhygienic places

Benne dosa (Rs 190)
Honestly, I have had better dosas in Pune. Its not bad but not excellent.

Yesterday I visited this place. Felt amazing..🥂
Bored of same old white pasta.. so went for something new…✨We tried below dishes,

1. Fettuccine pasta - Rs. 750 - 4/5 - Perfectly cooked, but could’ve been little more buttery. Taste was good.
2. Spinach almond ravioli - Rs. 750 - 4/5- Stuffing was nice, overall great.
3. Basil zucchini toast - Rs. 450 - 4/5 - I like Zucchini and it was used in very innovative way on a toast. Lovely!
4. Dessert- Rs. 350 - Basic. Cream or we can say filling was ok. Curd like flavour so didn’t like much. Outer layer just basic fried puri like structure. Presentation was good.

Side note, Tried coconut matcha too. Thought,it should be coconut milk but it was coconut water. I didn’t like it..🍃🤢

Had to finish it as my date was laughing at me… he understood I was not ready to accept that it was bad. 🤭🫠😈

Overall experience is 4.5/5.
Ambience is good. You can go with friends, family or on date. Loved it🫶

EDIT : my fault guys, i forgot to tell y'all the location. It is Babu Khan Caterers on BT Kawade Road. 90 ka half Dum Chicken Biryani, 130 ka full, i think. Rates are cheap, they've got a nice place to sit down. I apologize for not showing the location.

I'm a sucker for some muslim caterer cum biryani shop food. After SO long, I have gotten a sit-down biryani eatery on my road.

Nice and khule khule chaawal, lots of masala that is well flavoured and soft pieces. Although, haan, pieces those kam diye hai.

Saath mein ek Russian Kebab 👍 for formality.

Gotta love it!
