Hi everyone! I’m looking for some local advice on recruiting volunteers for an upcoming non-profit event (Public InvCon 2026) at the Austin Central Library.
We have some heavy-hitting presentations, including content from NASA Artemis, and we’re looking for volunteers to help with:
- Emcee & Presenter Support
- Photography & Video
- Registration & Welcome
- Setup & Logistics
Beyond the main r/Austin sub, are there specific groups or discords you’d recommend reaching out to? We’re a 501(c)3, so this is strictly for community benefit and portfolio building.
