This is the only painting I’ve done so far that I’m happy with. I love using rainbow colors!
Was messing around with a pour and wasn't thrilled with it, so I'm just airbrushing using objects around my studio to make shapes. Just kinda going with it. I'm winging it pretty fast and loose, so I'll have a million touch ups to do. If it doesn't go to utter crap I'll post an update when I'm finished.
I'm really proud of the first one, it's the largest I have ever done 👍.
The 49ers colors is for a friend... lmao (football) ugh.
I found little boxes in the dollar store and thought I would try.
I'm getting better all the time.
This page has helped me so much !!!
First time pouring for someone who requested 3 pieces using all these colors and I just hope they will love it as much as I do. Kinda nervous. What do you all think? Should I go ahead and give it to them or do I need to repour? Any suggestions would be helpful.
In my quest to re-create a painting I did a couple of years ago. I slightly altered the method, and it came out similar, with slightly different color theory. I love the result.
Double Dip Acrylic Pour | Fluid Art Technique | Acrylic Pouring Diptych
In this video I’m creating two paintings from one pour using a simple and satisfying Double Dip acrylic pouring technique.
https://youtu.be/nJSwOEQ8zLA?si=QhJAIVCf3iCgkLby
With just few puddles of fluid acrylic paint and two canvases, this technique creates a beautiful diptych painting where each canvas develops its own unique personality. I love this technique because it’s simple, surprising, and very satisfying to watch. When the canvases separate, you never know exactly what will appear — and that reveal is always magical.

Does anyone have suggestions? It just makes it look muddy on the sides and on the edges of the canvas. I fully tape the edges and also use paper under the canvas, but it always ends up over the sides instead of on the canvas. It wastes paint and some of the canvas. Please help!!
So. This is freezer paper that I typically put under the canvas. I did a pour, scraped the paint to reserve and this was left over, so I balloon popped & used a wedge sponge on the freezer paper. Not a painting, not the actual pour. Just a back scratcher for the brain.
