I passed up on double edge and now I want to teach my eevee a new (preferably) OP move, so far it has double kick, baddy bad, buzzy buzz and quick attack
EDIT: I GOT IT!!! Went to bed at like #275, woke up, continued, got it on #289! (Pic in comments.) Thanks guys!! Wonder what I should hunt next?

Maaaan. I've got the shiny charm, max lures on, and 3 straight days on the same combo aaaand... nothing. Even my dog is judging.
Do I give up? I have other things to hunt and work on for the master trainers... But ughgghhhhhh. Damn Charmander...
I now have dozens of max 5-6 IV Charmanders with nothing to do with them. *Dozens*.
ETA: Do you guys focus 100% on it, or do you do something on the side to pass the time? Like put on a show to watch or something.

Not much needed here. I was 3 badges in and once I got the poke flute to awaken Snorlax, I explored every flyable location and started hunting for a Shiny Ponyta ( soon to be Rapidash ) to be able to ride in the city.
Just check my teams levels 😅
it took me 10 hours and I threw like 5 balls all over the place when it finally showed up because I was too excited, but shiny Beedrill is finally mine!
I probably missed it right…
I have now learned that the combo doesn’t exceed 999 and will just stay as that number !

I've been playing this game, there are flaws but it's actually pretty fun and wholesome. My team is Eevee, Kantonian Ninetails, Alolan Ninetails, Haunter, Alolan Raichu. I've been able to cover most weaknesses due to TMs

I just got on the game for the first time in almost 5 years. Caught a zapdos and an articuno within 5 minutes of eachother. And caught the other articuno a few days ago. But I’ve only been on 3 times in the past week.
The Internet is saying these are rarer than shinies? Is that true?
About 30 hours ago, I posted about getting a shiny onix, and about 70ish hours ago, about a shiny zubat. The save file was started on 5/5/2026, now at 21h playtime, and3 full odds shiny encounters. So hyped. Only sad part is that its now a dupe shiny😂. But you will not hear me complain, let that be clear.
It can almost be considered a 3rd part to the previous posts i did in the last few days, but once again, just strolling through cerulean cave after I caught mewtwo, when I see a shiny golbat, a split second I think its the golbat in my party, that got out of itd ball, but... well its not.
Restarting let’s go pikachu going on holiday tomorrow so any team recommendations for my flight want something different I don’t mind pikachu being in it but usually my kanto teams always have nidoking primeape blastoice gengar jolteon and charizard or fearow and arcanine also usually mixes in on my team. So any recommendations I’ll take.

I like got back into playing pokemon due to champion releasing. Play though ZA and then SV. I had let's go eevee from launch but only had 49 mins into it, stopped before Brook basically.
Come back into this again one wow the older games has a lot of trainer battles to pad things out like a lot a lot lol.
But honestly the one thing that's making me want to never open this game again is the catch rate. My god is the catch rate miserable in this game. In a game all about catching no idea what in their mind thought it was a good idea to make catching feel this bad. Yes very run to play the stupid pokemon go catching just to fail 10+ balls then they run off. Like I been playing pokemon go recently too and that's so much better than this.
Everything about the whole interface just make it worse. In GO at least you fail you just go again. No here you have to confirm to throw then throw every single time, as if failing isn't bad enough that they needed these extra tedious confirmation to make it worse. Same with using berries. Just all these extra button press to do an action that doesn't help at all.
Also some of these trainer battles too are just so wtf. Ya fun spam minimize or snorlax who just spam sleep none top.
Like the base gen 1 is fun but there just so many of these little things that like piss me off that make it really hard to finish this game.
Sorry more of a rant but all these thing seriously like getting on my nerves,
Which pokemon are 1) easy to catch (easier color circle, don’t move around as much), 2) prolific/spawn frequently, and 3) start at a high enough exp point level to build rapidly?
For example - flying pokemon like pidgeys are prolific, but they move a lot and are not as straightforward to catch. Digletts are dime a dozen in the cave but they start at such low exp values it feels like a slog to get to a reasonably high reward on catching them.
So far my go-to has been grimers as they only jump up and down a few times, there are a million in the cinnabar mansion and lots in the power plant, and they start off with a pretty high exp value when catching and it builds quickly. But I’m getting a little sick of catching grimers and looking for another good option to level up my party!
