So, I decided to shiny hunt Ponyta while I farmed some berries. (I was originally hunting Squirtle but someone accidentally opened another game and broke my 60-something combo & lost 40 mins of playtime 😭. After spending three freaking hours just to get it to 11, I was too frustrated and decided to do something easier for a while before I try again.)
I'm only on Ponyta #23 at the moment and ran into a shiny Chansey out of nowhere, which I don't have yet. So I had to debate whether or not to pick it up, since 23 is still pretty low. I went for it, since it's an easy combo to get back.
So that made me think about the question in general! What do you guys generally do while shiny hunting? Do you ignore other shinies that come, or break your combo for it?
