Who is Huntress?

Who is Huntress? For the blind, She foresights the unseen across 3 tiles ahead. For the hungry, She hunts fresh fish meat for free. For the thirsty, She rejuvenates ambers to dewdrops. For the wardens she weaves barkskin armor from the nature itself. For the snipers in the shadow she marks every oblivious enemies to meet their doom. For the newbies, she grants the first taste of endless arrow bow. For the veterans, She is the legend, The GOAT.

If Huntress has a million fans, then I am one of them. If Huntress has ten fans, then I am one of them. If Huntress has only one fan then that is me. If Huntress has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against Huntress then I am against the world.

I love huntress I love huntress I love huntress I love huntress I love huntress I love huntress I love huntress I love huntress I love huntress I love huntress I love huntress I love huntress I love huntress I love huntress

Is Freerunner objectively better? Yes. Will I always choose Assassin anyway because it's too much fun? Also yes.

I'm pretty noob at this game, but here's my ring tier list.

If you are more experienced and disagree with some or all of the things I've said, feel free to explain to me your point.

Objectively correct wand tier list

In honor of the mod poll about to nuke shitty tier lists, here's mine.

Notes: every wand is good to have and is special in its own way, some are just more special than others. List is biased towards good damage or consistent utility (looking at you prismatic light not blinding when it needs to). List doesn't consider battlemage special effects.

I will fight anyone in comments wanting to move anything even by a single tier.

Subreddit update: More rule changes and poll results

Let's start with an elephant in the room:

The poll results were 67.4% for punishing misinfo and 32.6% for not.

However, with only "core contributors", it is 62.3% for punishment and 37.7% for not, and only 56% for first option were regulars (with second option having 70% support from regulars).

With a lot of thinking and reading the comments (that acknowledge my wording being antagonistic to tier lists), I decided on few things.

The subreddit changes:

  • Rules "follow reddit rules" and "don't post bad things" have been merged together due to conveying basically the same thing.
  • Tier lists now will be flaired as "Interactive", since a lot of them are made to generate discourse with varying degrees of quality.
  • New rule 2 is softly enforcing English; if your post doesn't have English translation, it will be removed. This is done so everyone can understand posts without using external tools.
  • Added a new rule (and reason to report things) for not allowing deliberately wrong posts about the game. If you feel like someone misunderstands or lies about the game, please correct them or do report so moderators can correct. Posts will not be removed for educational sake.
  • Images are now allowed to be posted in comments. GIFs are not allowed, however, since they are harder to policy and use more bandwidth, than necessary.
  • I am seeking new moderators to help with cool things and battling misinformation. Here's the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/PixelDungeon/application/
  • A new wiki-related event will begin soon once I figure out the details. pixeldungeon.wiki needs you!

Thanks for detailed responses on the poll!

What does "tier" really mean?

i wasnt really sure how does it work and if it matters or not. i saw a guy beating a game with a whip which is tier 3 weapon, that made me quite confused, i was always looking for the highest tier weapon, i was thinking that every run without a proper weapon or armor was instantly lost

Let's talk about item day 21(86) toxic gas potion! Hablemos del iten dia21(86) pocion de gas tóxico!

Day 21, everyone! I think we're about halfway through the regular potions section, right? I think.

Yesterday we talked about the Liquid Flame Potion. Today it's time for the Toxic Gas Potion! While this potion is dangerous when you first start drinking unidentified potions, it's less dangerous than the Liquid Flame Potion, since you can escape before it spreads too much.

Something interesting to know is that in small rooms/corridors, the "gases" last longer and spread a bit further than in a large room, so they're a viable option for damaging enemies that can't leave a small space, like "giant champions."

This potion has one of the most dangerous/powerful variants in the game. First, there's the "Corrosive Gas Potion," which deals damage that increases each turn you're exposed to the corrosion. Second, there's the Caustic Infusion Elixir, which inflicts the "Caustic Sludge" debuff, causing constant damage until you're on a water tile.

And then there's the Toxic Essence Infusion, which isn't much to write home about.

Do you like this potion? Do you use it whenever you can, or do you alchemize it into 6 juicy energies?

Previous post/post anterior:https://www.reddit.com/r/PixelDungeon/s/xrPdwkDHcL

Let's talk about the item! Day 20(85) Liquid Flame potion! Hablemos del item! Dia 20(85) pocion de llama líquida

Day 20, everyone! Let's keep this posting streak going! I hope the idiot who downvotes my posts gets bored, since he's just a moron with nothing better to do than annoy people.

Yesterday we talked about the Frost Potion, today we're talking about its opposite, the Liquid Flame Potion. This potion is the number one danger whenever you drink an unidentified potion at the beginning of the run—a total hazard that can eliminate you if you're unlucky.

You're guaranteed one of these every time there's a "barricade" quarter on the floor, so that's a good warning not to carelessly drink the potions on those floors XD

Like the Frost Potion, this potion has multiple variations: the Dragon's Breath Potion, which behaves similarly to a fire wand; the Dragon's Blood Elixir, which grants fire immunity and fire damage; and the Infernal Infusion, which spreads fire like gas.

Tell me your opinions on this potion! Do you use it often? Do you convert it into its variants when you can? Or is it just 6 free energy?

Suelen usarla seguido? La convierten en sus variantes cuando pueden? O es 6 de energia gratuita?
