The queen has spoken

This makes me admire her even more. Everything is political, especially in sports. Whatever chaos is happening in the national team and in our country in general, may this be a reminder to make wise and informed decisions.

Sobrang layo ng performance nila from the Kadayawan Festival game (where we last saw an offseason game from them) from this Season 88. Ano kayang magic ang ginawa nila between September 2025 to February 2026?

Salamat Lamina!

Unfortunate ending to her collegiate career, but salamat sa 11 years niya with NU. The fact na nadala niya sa finals ang team na halos nalagas ang starters is already a feat in itself. Good luck sa PVL!

Coach reg is a problem for NU, they had the personnel for the job but poor coaching was clearly the one that costed them the game.

To be specific walang adjustments during Set 2. They should’ve strengthened receives by subbing in better floor defenders and taking cantada out, as seen early in Set 3 when it was effective. Nung 3rd set, when La Salle was pulling away, yun yung time for NU to sub in Cantada despite her errors nung earlier sets. That’s when you take the risk on a spark plug kaso wala, hindi nagadjust, walang ginawa.

DLSU’s Canino, Reterta and Provido were reliable all throughout the game, sobrang galing.

This game proved the coaching difference. The series is now DLSU’s to lose.

What if Belen stayed for UAAP 88?

Hypothetically, what if Belen used her LPY in UAAP 88? It’s always sad when a senior has to leave the school that they loved and fought for years, which is why most of them maximize their 5 full years (usually taking up some further degree). Not Belen though, who gave way to NU’s growing roster of hitters. Would this have been enough to let NU join the esteemed ranks of DLSU and FEU in having a three-peat?

Additional: what if Solomon had stayed as well?

Was hopeful for Jonna’s return next season but I guess it’s the right decision since the OH pool is quite deep for UST next year. But, lahat ng naniniwala kay Reg, mag-ingay!

Si Shane talaga ang most improved this seasonsa Lady Spikers, di ko ineexpect na kaya niya bumarog ng ganito at ang Ganda ng defense niya,to think na converted MB pa yan at may games na nilalabas kasi naninibago pa sa position niya.

Akala ko sure win na for NU yung first set but DLSU managed to steal it pa from them. Hats off to the Lady Spikers! Partida off pa si Shevy nyan. This is the reason why undefeated sa elims ang Lady Spikers eh, sila talaga ang mentally toughest team this season.
