Puppy head infection for 2 weeks, no improvement after vet visit - anyone faced this?

It’s been nearly 2 weeks and my puppy has this kind of infection/scab on his head. Blood mixes with the hair, and when I try to clean/remove it, the hair comes off too. He keeps scratching the area as well.

I already checked with a vet, but so far I haven’t seen any clear improvement yet.

Has anyone experienced something similar with their dog/puppy? What did it turn out to be fungal infection, mites, hotspot, allergy, or something else? Any solutions or advice would really help.

Check the images/details for better understanding.

Staffy skin issue

Hi everyone

Needing some advice and recommendations..

I have a staffy who is just over 1 years old and within the last month he has had really bad skin allergies and issues where he is constantly scratching and opening his skin mainly under his armpits and chewing his knees. I have changed his diet completely and he is now having kangaroo as he is allergic to most things

Went to the vet last fortnight and he was prescribed strong antihistamines and cefalexin antibiotics - which helped whilst he was on them however as soon as he stopped it came back worse. I will insert photos for reference

He is going back to vet tomorrow morning can anyone suggest anything for me? An injection etc because I feel like the antibiotics did not work and I don’t want to be constantly back in the vet clinic dropping hundreds of dollars each time

Any help is appreciated as I am quite anxious and distraught by this

Thank you

It has gone to the Rainbow Bridge, not to leave, but to provide a different kind of companionship 🌈

Death is not the end; oblivion is.

Thank you for accompanying me throughout my life, from being adorable to having gray hair, from being mischievous to being quiet.

You've worked hard in this life.

Without pain, without panic, without loneliness, let's run happily towards the Rainbow Bridge.

We will meet again.

May every furry child be gently bid farewell and depart with dignity.

White floating stuff in the IV fluid

My male cat is taking IV fluid because of jaundice. While checking the IV bag, I noticed this white cotton-like floating in the bag. I immediately move the roller clamp down to stop the flow. Is this a contamination? I can't ask my vet right now because they are only available until 5 p.m.

Someone got a glucose monitor

Poor guy still tried to remove his new glucose monitor despite being barely able to walk straight with all the fun meds on board. So we’ve finally put the infant onesie to use that never made it to our friend’s baby shower.

Cat limping

My cat started limping on her front paw about 3 weeks ago. I took her to the vet, and they checked her paw but didn’t find any broken bones, swelling, or anything obvious. They mentioned her muscles felt a little off, but nothing conclusive. She’s still eating, drinking, and using the bathroom normally. She also still jumps on and off the bed, but she refuses to use the stairs I got for her—almost like she’s trying to avoid putting extra strain on it. I’m not sure what to do at this point. Has anyone dealt with something similar or have any advice?

Roxy is both zooted and partially shaved

She’s 13.5 and had to have a MRI and spinal tap yesterday. She’s still super groggy. Hopefully, she’ll just need medication.

Worried about my cat

My cat recently got stitched up and I got her back two days ago. Yesterday she was eating and acting fine, and the day before that she even played with her toys. But today she hasn’t eaten all day, even when I gave her more food without her medication mixed in. I texted her vet and I’ll have to wait for a response tomorrow. Could I just be overreacting? Is this normal behavior for a cat after coming back from the vet?
