New car - Few complaints

New car - Few complaints

First, my bad for the TERRIBLE picture and dirty garage. My new-to-me panamera 4 e-hyybrid finally came today and I just wanted to say I have a few complaints right off the bat. First, the ride is ROUGH compared to my s-class, I knew it wouldn't be as good, but to be completely honest the suspension is like a honda civic. Second, the car is SLOW and I mean very slow, it got delivered with 0% charge in the battery, so I'm suspecting thats why its so slow, but didn't realize that without the electric boost its SO slow. Third, this car feels HEAVY compared to my s-class. These are my first thoughts as soon as driving the car, as always a new car will require some adjustments, these are just some things I noticed right off the bat. But now on to the positives, this car looks AMAZING, I love the black wheels contrasting with the chalk and all the black accents, I also like the green accents some places. It just looks so good, the interior quality is also amazing. I think overall, it will be a big adjustment I just hope it wasn't a bad decision buying this car. I test drove the new one (when I test drove it, it had full battery charge) and that one drove different, didn't feel as heavy, and was much faster (also probably due to battery being charged).

Well I never thought the day would come. And it did.
I’ve had my 2020 pan 10th aniv edition since new. And honestly, was hands down the best car I’ve ever owned. It did everything I could possibly want of it.

But I’ve been humming and haying for a change. Couldn’t decide what, posted on here a couple of times and couldn’t really justify anything, RS6 was slower, M5 isn’t as well built, M3 too small.

Well I mistakingly went to aston martin to pick up parts for my vanquish. Ended up sitting in a DBX. And oh wow. It ticked every box the pan does, slightly taller but I can live with that. And wow.

What a car.

So this is a farewell to my Panamera and for 5 years of amazing memories and wild ride and onto the logical step up!

2016 Panamera S

Hello everyone. I recently purchased this 2016 Panamera S, and so far I have loved this car!

HOWEVER, I am wondering if there is a way to permanently disable the auto stop feature?
I turn it off almost all the time, but it is really annoying when I forget to turn it off.
Thanks in advance!

Hybrid Panamera (4 E-Hybrid) vs non-hybrid Panamera 4 for high-mileage driver? Real-world experiences please

Hey everyone,

I'm strongly considering a new/nearly new Panamera and trying to decide between the 2017 Panamera 4 (non-hybrid) and the 2018 4 E-Hybrid. I drive a lot — a few hundred miles per week commuting/highway, plus 1-2 longer road trips (500+ miles) per month. Fuel efficiency and range on long hauls are important to me, but I also want the performance and driving feel Porsche is known for.

I've heard the non-hybrid can get 550-600 miles on a full tank, while the hybrid is more like 500-550 miles. Is this accurate in real-world conditions (mostly highway, 70-80 mph)? How do the hybrids actually perform on long trips once the battery is depleted? Do you notice the extra weight? Any major reliability differences or regrets going hybrid vs pure gas?

Bonus questions for hybrid owners:

  • How's the real-world mpg on longer drives (highway, no opportunity to plug in often)?
  • Charging at home/work — worth it for your usage?
  • Any issues with the hybrid system on high-mileage cars?

Appreciate any owner experiences, especially from people who put serious miles on their cars. Thanks!

Must have mods/tweaks for a 2018 Porsche Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo?

I just picked up a 2018 Porsche Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo as my daily to complement my 911's. It's my first Panamera so looking forward to having touring as a daily.

What are some most have mods and tweaks for a Panamera 971? So far I've noted:
- PCM CarPlay fullscreen mod + Android Auto

Thanks you.

Best,
Kenneth

Hi, I am considering upgrading my S560 to a panamera. I've been looking for a few weeks and have found a few. The main ones I am considering are a 18 4 ehybrid with 50k miles and a 17 turbo with 48k miles. The turbo is about 8k more than the 4 ehybrid I was looking at. The 4 ehybrid is very well specced with a 132k window sticker, and the turbo is also well specced with a 180k window sticker. I really wanted the burmester 3d system, as when I test drove the panamera, I found that the bose system was complete trash compared to any sound system I've had in any car, the base burmester in my s class, burmester in my eqs, the base sound system in my x5m, etc. Its extremely difficult to find a non-turbo that has a burmester sound system on the used market, so I was left only looking at turbos if I wanted the upgraded sound system. So I guess what I'm asking is should I pay 8k more to get a turbo with the burmester system that is 1 year older then the 4s or 4e-hybrids I was looking at. The turbo does have perfect service history though. I could also get a 4s or 4ehybrid with 15k miles for the same price as the turbo I am looking at. Will it be worth it, I test drove a 4sehybrid and that felt fast enough for me, so I'm not buying the turbo for the speed (even though that is a very well added benefit :) ), will it have at least 6k more resale value in 4 years when I sell it?

question about inspection

Hi sorry for postingn agian, I purchased a 2019 Porsche panamera 4 ehybrid and the dealership I bought it from has a very good warranty that will cover anything that needs to be done for the first few weeks you have the car. Porsche dealerships around me such as Porsche Plano and Porsche McKinney (Service center) all have this on their website:

https://preview.redd.it/89wnerugxe0h1.png?width=888&format=png&auto=webp&s=d4cee0f012e898f9a93a9861a762453faf2bad4c

Do you guys have any experience with this? Will it cover everythingn in the car and inspect thourougly, im guessing that they will because they most likely just want to make money from the actual things they find, but I'm not sure. If not, do you guys know how much an actual very thorough inspection will be, inspecting everything including battery health?

Hi,

I have a 2019 Porsche Panamera (PCM 4.1, MHI2 – software: MHI2_ER_POG24_P5135).

It only has wired Apple CarPlay, no Android Auto.

I’ve seen solutions like Navimann that claim to enable Android Auto via software.

Also read that there may be audio quality differences vs. something like Carlinkit.

I haven’t tried anything yet.

Questions:

- Has anyone actually done this on a Panamera 971?

- Does it work reliably?

- Would you recommend it, or just go with something like Carlinkit?

Thanks!

So I just got a 2011 Panamera Turbo with navigation. On the drive home, I played with setting and got the speed limit to display on the top line. I didn't realize you needed to save the settings (when you saved the seat settings). No that I am home, speed limit is not an option for the top line (or any line really). How do I get that to display?
