I saw a ps4 pro going for $167. In my country ps4 pros generally go for $150 - $250 depending on the inclusions and if it’s jailbreaked.
What I’m planning on buying has a cooling stand, 2 controllers, 7 games, and 3 gb of extended storage (2 gb ssd and 1 gb hdd) and it’s on 13.50 firmware.
Is this a steal?

I can’t post photos in the PS4 subreddit, and I know this group is meant for PS4Pros, so apologies in advance. I bought a replacement shell for my PS4 Slim from AliExpress, and I noticed that the new parts didn’t include two small metal pieces that were on the original shell. I removed them from the original and they looked like screws at first, but I read that they’re melted at the factory or sth.
I’m trying to attach them to the new bottom panel. There are small raised areas showing where they should go, but I’m not sure how to secure them properly. Is there a type of adhesive or tape that would work to hold them in place? What are these pieces called and what do they do?

I'm about to clean it now and I'm wondering if opening the top and bottom lids and clean the dust out is enough, I don't have any thermal paste, also, can I use a vaccum cleaner?

Bought a ps4 pro second hand few weeks ago and had one issue of loud fan noise , but since it's my first console I don't what sound is normal and what is loud but mine feels a little louder altho I bought a newer model (7216-B ig), what should I do, I even cleaned tho it's wasn't dirty at all
While playing spider man and gow the fan noise goes significantly higher.
So this guy is selling a JB PS4 Pro 12.52 firmware. And he says it's seal packed and all working and well. What should I look for to know it works great and all cuz this will be my first console
Hi everyone, I'm planning a repaste and deep clean of my PS4 Slim. I'm choosing between Arctic MX-4 and ID-Cooling Frost X25. Since the PS4 doesn't have the same mounting pressure as a PC, I'm worried about the thickness of the Frost X25. Which one would you recommend for long-term stability and fan noise reduction? Thanks!
Just finished Mission 46 and I noticed something strange with the camera controls, without changing any settings, It’s like it went inverted (or back to normal?) for no reason.. Has anyone else experienced an automatic change in camera inversion during or after following this specific mission?
Hey guys! I have a ps4 pro (CUH-7215 / NVG-003) that wasn’t turning on at all. I cleaned up the corrosion on the board and on the power connector. Once I did that, I got the console to beep and flash a blue power light that would turn off after 1.5 seconds with no fan spin at all. Pretty sure the PSU was bad (see image), so I bought a new one.
While waiting for the power supply to come in, I was still itching to see if I could find out if it was a different issue by probing it with the multimeter. And I must have shorted something in doing so because now I can’t get the console to beep with blue light anymore. The new PSU doesn’t change anything either.
So I feel terrible knowing I must have broke something with it plugged in and shorted something or something like that. But I want to fix it or find the issue if I can.
Based on the pictures and descriptions I gave, can anyone smarter than me tell me how I can find where this short may be? I’m having trouble finding things online for this specific board. I will update this description as I test more things, and please ask questions if I haven’t provided enough detail.

We have a PS4 pro and I originally assumed fan issue due to not hearing it turn on. Bought a new fan, replaced it, cleaned old grease off the brains and the heatsink, reapplied new grease and thought id be golden.
Turns out I was wrong. Still does the same thing and im at a loss. I know it can be other equipment faulty or corrupt, but has anyone experienced this, and what helped you resolve it?
I’m coming from an original fat PS3 (upgraded it to a 1 TB HDD back in the day).

Am not a tech geek, but can handle simple stuff like switching hard disks, other miscellaneous tasks without involving any coding or programming.
To download games or perform certain actions, my PS4 Slim requires me to update to the latest software version. However, I don't want to do this because I'm waiting for the possibility of jailbreaking it; I currently have version 13.04. What options do I have? One alternative I'm considering is continuing to use my PC and storing the PS4 until a jailbreak compatible with my version is released; only then will I be able to use the console.
so i have a ps4 pro that kind of fell from a 10-foot drop and throws an error code something along the lines of can't read memory or something, and I don't plan on fixing it, so is there anything inside the ps4 i can salvage and use, like in a laptop or computer or just to have laying around for anything?
