"Mountains of the Moon" was one of the songs the Grateful Dead played when they were on Playboy After Dark in January of 1969 - long before 💥🚀Apollo 11's lunar landing (7/24/69)

🤪🤡✌️ Grateful Dead's history of dosing people with acid on the Playboy After Dark set - In Rock Skully's book he said everyone on the Playboy After Dark set got dosed except Hefner. He said Hefner only drank Pepsi on set, and that his Pepsis were kept under close guard to keep them from being dosed. Kreutzmann claimed however ( on late night talk shows) the Hefner also got dosed that night.

Three Dog Night singing their "Mama Told Me Not to Come" in 1972...The Randy Newman song allowed them to showcase their breathtaking ability to compose 3 part harmonies....Negron, Hutton & especially Wells burn the stage down & they are pitch perfect long before ear mics..Brian Wilson protégés🔥

Duran Duran in 1983

Okay, I admit it: I had a crush on Simon Lebon. But that aside... I was a rock and roll deejay, and Duran Duran's "Hungry Like the Wolf" was huge for us: we played the short, top-40 version during the day, and the long "Night Version" later in the evening-- great dance music. "Hungry Like the Wolf" has aged well, and that video has too! Which Duran Duran songs did you like?
