Worth the wait
I received my Odin 3 Max this past weekend and I’m on lunch break having a blast playing ToTK. One of my favorite purchases in a while. Definitely worth the wait!

Hi guys, my Odin finally arrived. Any recommendations for settings and emulators?
Odin 3 arrived this week, having a blast with this old gem on X1Box emulator, plays perfectly!!
Everything you can do to make your Odin2 Portal even better. Tips for better screen saturation (Settings + Odin Tools), quieter buttons (WhatObiPlays TPU rings mod), improved audio with the latest JamesDSP + O2P Tweaks apps, silicone toppers that fit the original sticks, full-screen 9H protector from Japan, how to trim the grip to improve button accessibility and plenty more. Phew. Hope it helps!
In this market it feels like a good buy but hard to say, don't see a lot of chatter about the regular 2, mostly the Portal, 3, or Thor. Since the Portal and Thor have the same processor then I feel like it should still be a pretty good system, and it has 12GB of RAM, so Gamenative should run decently I think? Getting it for emulation up to PS2, PC emulation of light 2D games/some very basic 3D games, and game streaming over Artemis and XBXPlay. Good snag or bad idea?
came across these devices from a post on the division resurgence subreddit, and it's got me seriously thinking of buying one as my s21 ultra is struggling to keep up with todays gaming demands.
hows everyone's experiences so far with the odin 3 and does it feel good playing these games?
I’ve tried a as much combination of settings as I could with no luck so now I’m turning to Reddit for help?
I have an Odin 3 max (SD8 elite 16gb ram). I’ve been playing dark souls 3 on gamehub lite and it works flawlessly at high settings. Capped at 30fps to save battery.
When trying to run it on gamenative I get the same performance but frequent stutters. I’ve tried to change as much settings as I could but still can’t get rid of the random stutters. CPU and GPU usage is low and the game runs easily at 30fps.
I’ve tried the exact same settings used in gamehub but still getting the stutters. Is there some setting that I’m missing? Any help would be appreciated.
I know I can just run it on gamehub lite but I’m trying to move all my games over to gamenative on this device
I wrote to Ayn customer service and this is what they replied.
I replied that I ordered on March 1st, like others who have ALREADY received it, but I haven't even received a notification about what happened to my order.
And they answered this.
It really sucks, I hope they don't go beyond this time, otherwise I'll cancel the order, at this point my hype has gone down
i couldn't find any measurement of odin 3 case size. For me its the case size rather than device aize that will determine portability for me, as I want to know how much space it will take in my bag.
Anyone who has the odin 3 with case who can do some measurements and show what the size is of the odin 3 case? If you have with the "case with TPU" grips as well, that would also be much appreciated also
here is more info on the bags
plan to use it to hold a Odin 3/Analogue Pocket, water bottle and wallet/passport.
