Woah is that an antagonist for my apocalypse comic? Yeah! Here's my sun cult leader. He doesn't have a name yet, so I would love any name recommendations for him. My only condition for names is I want to avoid any obvious sun names (because that's just too easy).

This guy is intended to be soft-spoken, manipulative, and incredibly charismatic. I originally had planned on my cult leader being older (sort of like an old priest type character), but something about an evil theater kid just drew me in lol. He's recently taken control of a small group of cultists that worships the sun in my apocalypse universe, having "ascended" to the role after the death of their initial leader. He's constantly forcing a face of "calm", but is known to lose it in private and let his real bits of insanity show. There's a lot of Tally Hall songs that I feel like sum up this guy well lol.

He has a massive savior complex, believing The Sun is what will cure Yuma of The Rot, and he will be the one to bring the sun back and save the world. He is a victim of abuse at the hands of the old cult leader (which does play into why and how the old cult leader died). His intentions are relatively good (on the surface), and I want him to be a sympathetic villain, but he's still a bad guy doing bad things.

His design is still a work in progress, mostly when it comes to colors. I just know I want him to look soft and unassuming, very much a wolf in sheep's clothing. Any name recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

​Hazel, despite being an absolutely evil woman. Is…deeply traumatized. A woman lost and deluding herself into a path she thinks is the only way.

when she was younger, her parents died early. Or more like her dad left her with her mom who was sick and died. And her dad was in debt. So naturally the loan sharks came to collect. Since the dad ran off, they only found Hazel and her dead mother…so they took her as collateral. To repay her father’s debt, she was going to be made to work for it. Eventually, a scientist came along and bought her off the gang’s hands, paying her debt in full and seeming to be her savior…but he was the farthest thing from it.

She was taken to a lab where she was experimented on. Her pain tolerance was tested to the max, she was ripped apart and put back together again over and over, electrocuted, locked in rooms with dangerous animals, all to see how well she’d survive it all. And determine her capability of being merged with [FILE REDACTED.]. She gained abilities from the experiment, manipulating soundwaves is her main go-to…and she can release paralyzing mist from her body among other things. Her rabbit ears and tail are also a byproduct of his. But she wasn’t the only experiment…there were thousands of subjects, and she got to meet them all in due time…

Only to have to later fight them all in a bloody slaughter fest for survival.

The scientist took joy in watching these experiments fight and struggle to survive, and he put them against each other to weed out weaklings from the most capable. Mere children forced to fight to the death for the chance to see another day. Only four of them ended up surviving out of the thousands once present, Hazel included. Hazel was mentally broken, she was so willing to give up…but those children were her friends. She suffered. They suffered…all because one man wanted to play god. So she bided her time, took note of all his habits…and eventually, when he let his guard down for just a second…she took her chance. But he didn’t die right away…he begged. He pleaded with her. He cried for mercy. And Hazel, despite all the other things she felt? She felt good. It was almost euphoric to see someone finally groveling at her feet. To finally be in control for once. After being at people’s mercy for so long, constantly a victim of circumstance and being weak and powerless, now she had the power to decide what happened to someone else, and it was thrilling. So…even after she let the others out of containment, she went on to begin doing heinous things of her own.

It started with common criminals. The worst of the worst. The people who’d commit the worst crimes known to man. She’d make a message out of them and leave the mess for other people to find. She was the closest thing to “justice”…retribution. But over time that darker part started to come back. That desire to see people suffer. It didn’t stop at just criminals. She’d take people, kidnap them, torture them for days on end. Using everything at her disposal. Things they loved, things they valued. Objects. Secrets…family. She loved watching someone break under her heel. It was exhilarating.

Torturing people, making them suffer, manipulating anyone and everyone to get whatever she wants and to watch the despair sink in as they realize it was all part of her plan in the end. It was a euphoric feeling unlike any other. After all…

For a while I been wanting to give griffin some sort of item, be it an amulet or some kinda of focus for his magic. In the past i gave him scepters or staffs but i have decides to take inspo from the white drago sword from power rangers dino thundee

Lore wise, it's a gift from azar to kamran. Azar, using his divine abilities, transmutated one of his feathers...turning it into a sharp blade but also...merged it with one of kamran's fountain pens. This quill blade allows kamran to now hack and slash but also cast more refined spells. From enchantments on other items to straight out drawing items out of mana such as arrows(which i also stole from dino thunder). This weapon is quite fitting for kamran imo, as he'll likely be a comic book writer or artist when he grows up. Or will be an aspiring one atleast,

I'm trying to figure out setting a bit more for my world, so have some quick sketchbook doodles of the dome settlements of Yuma!

These dome settlements were created before the initial collapse, as a way to protect major cities and towns from the sun. Although it didn't help in the collapsing of society (by the time they were built the world was too far gone), the domes are still around. Gone are the big cities, and in their places are ramshackle settlements and homes. But these places are some of the safest locations a person can be in Yuma due to it being such a community based location. You're not alone, not exposed to the elements, and have limited exposure to the rot (hopefully).

Soo, I was rewamping Luxuriae (Lux fır short) and idk I feel like an outfit of sorts would be good to reduce empty space.

But I am not sure what. I know she already have a witch hat looking cap but a witch outfit would be too on the nose maybe, idk.

Here's some examples of the Yumites, the main species of my apocalypse world (basically Yuma's equivalent to humans). I'm slowly working on populating my world with characters, and I wanted to show off a few of the designs I've got. I'm still figuring out how I draw these guys and what sort of features they have, but I like what I've got so far. Enjoy a few colored doodles of some characters I've developed so far.

Yumites are vaguely human, vaguely animal, really leaning more into being weird goblin-esque creatures. Ear and tail shapes can vary from person to person. It tends to be a tradition, especially for folks living in the apocalyptic wastelands, to decorate their tails with trinkets and keepsakes (so looking at that can tell a lot about a person's interests). They have an excellent sense of hearing, with that being the primary sense of this species. Some folks are naturally gifted with magic, but it's not traditional spellcasting magic. Instead it's a deeper connection with the natural world (for example, the character Maryn has a sixth sense for scrap metal). The folks we're looking at here live in a scrubland/arid environment, I'm taking inspiration from a bit of the American Southwest deserts but also Eastern Washington and Oregon.

Main inspirations for the species include some book I read as a kid that I have very vague memories of (no idea what book, I just have a super vague memory I'm going off of) and the Zonai from Tears of the Kingdom.

I'm still working out how this species looks and functions, but I wanted to do something different from humans, so here we are. Funky goblin creatures is what I've got, and I really like them. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Deadly Sin of Madness was the result of Bright Shade of Diligence Silvie's grief stricken actions. As these events hapened in a reality paralel to ours (which is a concept that exists also thanks to these events.) we lack full context, but the gist of it is when Silvie's her daughter, Lilith faded out of world, heaven and hell she tried to revind the events of that day to potentially save her.

In our reality this resulted in her almost dying too and running out of magic.

In the reality of Madness she resulted in stealing essence from slothfull souls to keep her attempts going. Then she started to steal essence from her lesser shades. Potentially due to her mental state her form started to fracture. As her actions started to threaten the flow of time itself rest of the Bright Shades atempted to stop her. We failed, well that version of us failed. The "single thread of fate" became not so single as branches of reality from that day forward started to form. That Silvie was left traped in the red void outside of space, time and reality. What, none of us has expected was multiple versions of that Silvie starting to overlap. I am not sure if it was a ritual they did but, they started to become entangled. Many threads startred to wrap around them and a single being was formed. It fit every description we had to clasify her as a deadly sin now.

As a Primordial Sin, her form is comprimised of her own bodies with shatered heads. I counted 6 but... most likely the overlapping bodies are in the counts of bilions. There are 3 magic circles with of course 12 lines around them, perhaps these circles are kepeing them together. Their tendrills are... intertvined in shape of a knot with a broken clock also stuck in there. Their bodies are covered with threads covering around them and the magic circles. They merge around where the knot is, creating a structure very similar to Silvie's halo.

In their Deadly Sin form the threads have entierly consumed them. There is one 12 lined magic circle around hsr torso. On there face where her eye was is only void. Her monocle is broken but, its still where ir always was. Her clock-like halo is shatered.

I am... incredibly glad that our Silvie is... well, not a part of that thing. Its, no longer her. So many minds pulling the strings, locked into the memory of that day Lilith vanished to oblivion. Ever repeating, she is too far gone for use to help. Feiro tried to give them a therapy sesion I think but, its been decades with no impruvement on her state.

I feel like I could have made this better, but I wanted to throw something together before I went to class today. Originally my Eldritch deity that caused the apocalypse was the sun itself, but I think I'm changing it to a nearby star that ultimately hatches (or awakens?) into our apocalypse causing deity.

I might make a better version of this later on, but for now here you go! One star-egg and one deity about to wreck a world. Here's how my apocalypse begins, when an eldritch space deity hatches out of a star and awakens. This causes massive solar flares that wipes out technology, large amounts of radiation that results in mutations in people and animals, and the general incomprehensible appearance of this being results in mass insanity and hysteria.

Almost nothing is known about Hamiel other he just one day volunteered to do military work and passed with flying colors. He was then assigned as scout in a scouting squad.

He isn't very talkative and would randomly and intensely stare at other people as if he was trying to observe them.

One day on mission with his squad was ambushed by an unknown creature and killed everyone in the squad except Hamiel but he was heavily injured and passed out

Right after this, he woke up in an unfamiliar path and that leads to a strange manor. Then leads to the start of my game.
