I lived in the downtown core (5 min walk near New Roc City) pre-COVID and moved out to CT during the pandemic. I'm looking at moving back. I found a place that I'm pretty happy with on the north side of the train station, close to New Rochelle Farms.
I am a young, small, female who often comes home decently late at night because I'm a performer, so I'm working gigs in the city at night. Will the walk back at 11-12-1-2am still be safe like it was back in 2019-2020? Granted, my walk time is now double what it used to be (~5 mins in pre-pandemic days to now ~10-12 mins), but just wanting to get more insight before I sign again. It seemed like there might be more people a little down on their luck now in the area. Has this been a concern for you? Thanks, all!

Any recommendations for dining after prom, my daughter and her friends want to eat after prom-ends at 12am. What stays open late..she wants a steakhouse..I want anything thats serves alcohol..lol
