Safety Moving to New Rochelle?

Hi, all!

I lived in the downtown core (5 min walk near New Roc City) pre-COVID and moved out to CT during the pandemic. I'm looking at moving back. I found a place that I'm pretty happy with on the north side of the train station, close to New Rochelle Farms.

I am a young, small, female who often comes home decently late at night because I'm a performer, so I'm working gigs in the city at night. Will the walk back at 11-12-1-2am still be safe like it was back in 2019-2020? Granted, my walk time is now double what it used to be (~5 mins in pre-pandemic days to now ~10-12 mins), but just wanting to get more insight before I sign again. It seemed like there might be more people a little down on their luck now in the area. Has this been a concern for you? Thanks, all!

Hi! I'm a Travel Pass Platinum member because of a status match. I'm staying at a Sonesta Simply Suites this evening and asked for a late checkout. I was asked what time I wanted. I asked what time was customary for Platinum members (knowing Marriott Gold Elite guarantees 2pm and higher tiers can go up to 4pm). I was asked again for what time, and I said 2pm. I was told they couldn't because if I left after 2pm, then I would be charged for another day. Status is not super useful if I can't stay as late as I could at a neighboring property. Is the 2pm rule the cutoff brand-wide?
