This stuff will be a bit lengthy so pls bear with me..

So basically, mai bhi ek aspirant tha 2021 batch, scored theek thaak (AIR 2k) and got into a medical college, almost completed my final year and will be an intern in a month.

Expectations vs Reality

  1. Stress/Padhai : havent slept for 30hrs just to revise pediatrics exam i had today, went without sleeping (9 such papers in final year) practicals yet to start

  2. Mbbs karlo baat khatam : Nope

5.5 yrs(MBBS) + 1yr (Neet Pg Prep Drop) + 3yrs(MS/MD) + 1-2yrs of Senior Residency [considering you all are mentally stable]

  1. No Money considering the stress and efforts

Intern = ~30kpm (varies with state) - kutte ki tarah kaam karna hota hai (night duties included).

Resident/PG = ~60kpm (varies) - very toxic, some people feels easier to take away their life ig

Senior resident = ~1L

(Though my engineer friend is earning 1L rn, I had better rank than him)

  1. Neet topper fail in mbbs, so everyone in mbbs starts from zero.

  2. No friends, no social life if you are an introvert and dont know the local language ( mere jaise log )

  3. Ragging +++++

Mbbs - unofficial ragging

Recidency/Pg - official harrasement

Theres much more which you guys will realise on your own.

Well guys this is not to demotivate you guys just to make you aware...

Mujhe yeh sab mbbs mein aane se pehle nahi pata tha, agar apko pata hai and you still choose then dude hats off to you..

Im not saying ki neet de diya hai do something else even if you score 720/720...ofc not!!!! Mai bass bata raha ki this is the reality.

Well im adapted now, and trying different ways to keep myselff...(4 saal baad 30k per month toh acc mein aayenge 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️😝😝)

Peace out!

MESSED UP THIS YEAR AND TAKING FIRST AND LAST DROP , I AM GIVING MY STRATEGY , IT IS WORTH IT?

Physics : SALEEM SIR ONE SHOT JEE LECTURES AND EDUNITI FOR MORE CONCEPTS AND HIGH QUALITY QUESTIONS(SURE SHOT AND RANK BOOSTER SERIES ), ALLEN MODULE SOLVE AND ITS RACE AND SOLVE ALL JEE MAINS QUESIONS \[ SOME ADVANCED AS WELL\] +NCERT READING AND QUESTIONS

CHEM : SAME ..

BIO : ONE SHOT DROM PW NEET AND Q PRACTICE AND NCERT READING

MAKING SHORT NOTES OF EVERY CHAPTER AFTER READING WHOLE NCERT AND VIDEOS

FOR TESTS : I THINK ALLEN DLP ACHIEVER WILL BE BEST PLUS U CAN SOLVE PREVIOUS YEAR ALLEN DLP TESTS FROM TELEGRAM

STARTING FROM 6 TO 7 HOURS STUDY AND THEN ULTIMATELY 10 HRS STUDIES ,,+1 OR 2 HOURS GYM WILL BE BEST ..

SELF STUDY NO COACHING AS I HAVE STUDIED FROM ALLEN 2 YRS BUT MESSED UP AND GOT DISTRACTED ,NOT THIS TIME ,,,

I HAVE MY MOST BASICS CLEAR IN PHYSICS , I JUST NEED TO BE GOOD IN ORG CHEM \[ ANY BEST TEACHER TO ACE MY ORG CHEM??\]

YEAH AND REVISION IS ALSO NECESSARY I THINK EVERYDAY ... IS IT BEST STRATEGY?......... OR ANYTHING NEEDED TO BE ADD?

💣💣

I'm not gonna change anything because well im 10 steps ahead, 27 will be the hardest mark my words.

keeping that in mind

1.for physics im doing module races or jo bhi allen ka hota hai + jee pyqs 5 years + neet obv

 2.for chem same

3.and for bio pyqs and figertips (mujhse module solve nhi hoti iski maybe only ex 3)

from now in may i'll do 12th and side by side try to complete pyqs of 11th kyuki module to mera ho hi gya hai of 11th

is this strategy good for a mind bending paper

+ koi or tips dedo if you want

By this sunday NEET 26 will be done, and next turn is ours. My heart is beating faster just thinking about it. As an online student i don't really have anyone to chat with about prep. My parent's only topic of discussion is NEET.

I feel so incompetent and under-prepared.

Also my stupid ass cannot sit down to study anymore, it's so frustrating.

My anxiety is not letting me study, i am lowkey really scared.

So, I was a dropper this year, i probably still wont make it (ref to my prev post) but despite my passion for med, i have decided to pursue engineering (i got 99 in mains) and go for biomed/genetic engineering for my btech because thats what my plan was for even my pg, i never wanted to be a clinical doctor.

Anyways, these are the resources i used to score 700+ all through my drop year and score 145 in physics in 2025,

  1. for bio, dont refer to anything but ncert, you can use vipin sir's umeed lectures in case you want to have some short tricks to memorize certain topics or revise them

  2. for chem, a)physical chem: i was strictly stuck to neet and jee pyqs, N awasthi (both jee and neet) ,

b)ioc: ncert highlights ka playlist dekho, there is this dude who has a playlist, i used his videos for both ioc and oc ke liye, and to revise ioc last me i used vora classes ke mindmap series

c) oc: my oc was quite weak this year, but i still managed to score full in this years chem, studying it in the last one month ache se🥀 my basics were already clear but idk this year maine itna bhaavnahi diya tha oc ko, but anyways i used yogesh jain sir ke revision lecs (1-2hrs wale)

  1. mera fav, physics:

I genuinely loved physics, i stuck to solving only pyqs (mains ke) and adv ke (out of my own interest you dont have to do so) , i would recc refering to mohit sir (eduniti) in case you are aiming for 180 in phys, i thoroughly solved all his pdfs, if you are aiming for 150-160, or below that, there is a youtube channel gyaanist karke, i found his lecs in april but my god his lecs helped me revise so well end me, his lecs are more than enough,

And out of my own interest i used to solve irodov and grp allen ki, paper hoke bhi physics ka bhoot nahi utra so abhi bhi i am solving naya book of irodov🥀

Byt my advice to my juniors is, dont run behind lecs, its not gonna be helpful, maine ton drop year me ek bhi lec refer nahi kiya, all i did was use one shots, i didnt devote an entire week to just study the chap, rather finish the chap in a day and solve qs for a week:)

Other books i used to solve qs were; momentum, allen jee modules, aakash neet modules, neetprep q bank, op tandon, ms chauhan and during my 11th 12th i solved aakash modules and errorless which maybe is the reason why i had a good base

And in the end again, keep your resources limited, i used so many because i used to enjoy solving qs a lot

Good luck to everyone:)

Lots of love;

Racoon

I am in 12th . i feel lux bio lecs are too slow and and teachers repeat multiple times , which is kinda unnecessary as after all its BIOLOGY . should i switch to dropper lecs?

It it okay if I don't make detailed notes and instead study directly from slides and modules? I plan on making short notes for quick revision, but is it necessary to make notes for every single class and chapter?
