It is deep underground not quite sure where but there are a few pipes that I can see going in diagonally and a bunch of pillars sticking into the ground along with a few black squares
It is possible to get up to title screen P by going behind and doing the infinite war climb with sword slice, is a bit finicky because there is a tiny little ledge that sticks out but it is easy enough to overcome
Title screen P barely acknowledges you is barely interactable apart from a few physics objects like our goggles, you can walk straight through her you can't hurt her but she will blush if you zoom in with orbire
So some things to mention before I start is that I have just finished the game on Xbox game pass and not heard anything about this game other than a gameplay clip of someone fighting the first boss.
But after completing the game and collecting 101 orb throughout my first playthrough I had genuinely enjoyed the game and im contemplating 100% it, I had looked online for any news for a blc or 2nd game and found a large majority had found the game "gooner bait" or lazy (Because of the gooner stuff) and honestly after finding the developers YouTube I kinda see what they are saying.
BUT after completing the game the gooner stuff is kinda a small amount of the game, like 5/20 of the overall cutscenes (ballparking it). Majority of the cutscenes are either 1. A cute girl doing cute things (not gooner shit) 2. Heavy lore implementations, and one thing I noticed throughout the game is the gooner stuff significantly drops after stage 2 (other than the stage 7 scene) and even the cutscenes are completely avoidable and a very small part of the game.
And an honorable mention is that I think the cute girl doing cute things and even maybe the gooner shit provides a good rest point to let your brain relax without breaking immersion but that's just a side point
Another thing people criticized was the drop in quality over time . . .
Witch I find hilarious because the game was seriously a 10/10 all the way though. The mechanics were easy to understand and smooth very forgiving without being too easy. And I never felt the reason I kept dying was not because of the game but myself. Also the level design was immaculate witch kept me immersed the entire time, they were also unique and different each stage they also never felt repetitive or over done. It seriously was a very well thought out game and a lot of passion and heart poured into it
Witch brings me to the idea that alot of the people that criticized the game either didn't play or are judging it off the developers yt (witch yeah I get it) and it makes me sad to see since this one of my new favorite game.
But I do understand the position they are taking because fan service can ruin a game, but I find that the fan service in motorslice is very satirical or downroght funny (almost like how people goon to OG lora croft) like come on guys shes 4 pixel with 2 polygons
I put speedrun tag because idk if it would be that useful or not. Basically if you fall of a wall or floor without jumping then attack you can then jump mid air. It lets you wall run for alot mor distance but you do lose height. This is my firstplaythrough still so i hope no spoilers Edit:this is the xbox version
I wanna know what it looks like up there, but I don't have the patience. Wondering if anyone has tried?
Here's my run I submitted to speedrun.com! Involves a lot of climbing 🧗♂️
*minor spoilers for late game lol but what the hell is this lol
Anyone tried to preorder the ost, I tried but kept getting an error message.
Struggling to get by this room, exactly the middle - NVM I think I may have found a way...expect update shortly.
Like why are there always dialogue options like "you are a good girl for finding this" or "can you hold me in your arms while laying in the grass?" And why does the game emphasize those options
By going at the edge of the map and trying to pass the edge and finding out we could hit orbie . I killed it and it skipped me directly to chapter 5 . Not sure if it's viable at all
Playing through the game for the first time and even though I only just started chapter 3 I've been loving using the game's wonky parkour against it to get out of bounds. Be it hopping over some barbed wire fences, climbing up to unintended platforms or finding the completely wrong way to get an orb drone, it's been a blast.
This most recent one was the best so far. In Chapter 3-2 I thought that one of the sand dunes at start of the checkpoint looked pretty close to the ground so after a few attempts I got P to land out of bounds and just started exploring. Eventually I reached some pillars that looked climbable and ended back in bounds to the end of checkpoint 2 where Metal Gear Rex first pops out. But all that was keeping me from him was a few barbed wire fences, so I shenanigan'd my way over and boarded the boss at the halfway point.
After some trial and error I realized I needed to make my way down Rex's leg to damage his first health segment, but afterwards I proceeded to defeat the boss and skip most of Chapter 3. Still gunna go back and finish the chapter *mostly* legit, but I can't wait to see what other sequence breaking I can do.
And if this sounds like it could be useful for speedrunning let me know and I can show anyone interested in how I did both skips.
