To a concert wearing a skirt!!
As I stated in my last post, this is my favorite outfit, so I decided to wear it to a concert! It was so nice to do!
Hihi! Ed here, the prettiest mountain man in Detroit, checking in, oldhagfashion said I should be here 🤔
Note to society: skirts and tights can be masculine!
Honestly I'm too much of an introvert an an aspie to wear it outdoors atm (hate being perceived in public), but god damn if it wasn't stigmatized I'd dress like that 70% of the time
My First Maxiskirt (from Quince)
Previously I stuck with knee-length skirts.
Pros:
- No more leg shaving!
- Can manspread and even sit criss cross applesauce without underwear exposure!
- Don't have to smooth bottom of skirt when I sit!
- No Marilyn Monroe moments!
Cons:
- Hem touches the floor, eww!
- How do I climb up stairs without tripping?
- Lots of drag when running
Though gotta say, I feel really cute when I lift the front of my skirt as I climb up stairs, I feel like a princess in a ballgown!
Overall, knee-length skirts are still my favorite! But hopefully I can wear this skirt with a T-shirt or polo and sandals to the office as a straight guy! (My industry largely has a casual dress code).
The best thing is this maxiskirt is thick enough to be opaque without a liner, and comes with DEEP pockets that'll easily hold your phone, wallet, and keys!
What do you think?
Nervous about doing this but here goes. Ive been wearing skirts and dresses since 2019 and been accepted by my wife and family. These are just a few things I have. I just went out at half one last night (in the hoodie and black pleated) while it was quiet. How do people have the courage to do it during the day. I hope I made the right choice doing this haha. the reason it says dola ai, I needed the pictures cleaned up.
Do you like my look?
I'm walking around the house like this today. Sooner or later I'll go out in public too.
Another dress for bellies.
There was a question about what to wear with a belly. Here is one solution. A stretchy top with a long wide skirt part. The stretch top has to be choosen the way that it is not stretched too much and that the top line ends above the belly.
Question: what do you do about the "bulge?"
I'm a gender-fluid dude who loves wearing skirts (sometimes), but there's something I struggle with: the skirts I like to wear tend to leave a noticeable bulge in front, which makes me really self-conscious.
I tend to prefer flat-front skirts in softer fabrics without much poofiness, where the line sort of goes straight down from the waist. But those skirts are made with cis women in mind, so they don't accommodate for men's anatomy. This isn't a size thing; even an average or smaller-than-average guy can have this issue, I'm sure. It's not an issue when I wear pants.
I'm not going to start tucking, but I also don't want to feel like I'm on display every time I go out in a cool skirt. Is there a particular kind of underwear that gives better support, or something? Or is this just something we gotta live with, and I'm making too big a deal of it?
Looking for some games
I like posing next to statues.
I haven't actually worn a dress like this in public so I'm slightly nervous. I love it so much though. It feels a tiny bit tight but I think it might give a little. I think the next size up would be too big.
Received compliments! It’s funny people thought the skirt was a kilt. Honestly, it does look like a kilt. Btw I saw Frankie and the Witch Fingers!
My favorite outfit!
Last night I wore my favorite outfit for a night with my friends! The blue thights matching good with this outfit, right?!
