Should I sell my Bullet 350 for a Suzuki Gypsy?

I already have 4 two wheelers (Honda Activa, RX 100, Super Splendor and Bullet 350).

Activa is for female members of my family.

Super Splendor is like a workhorse, cheap to maintain and gives great mileage

RX 100 is my memory, it's my grandfather's and I also love the vehicle, it's weight distribution, it's pickup and everything.

As for Bullet it's good, give around 37kmpl mileage, it's heavy but I love the sound.

Now as I already have 4 two wheelers, the maintenance of all these are quite hectic, so I was thinking of selling my Bullet 350 for an old Suzuki Gypsy.

Gypsy is going to be like a proper project vehicle for me, so I am confused whether to go for it or should I just stick to my bullet

Did this car crash had a head on crash?

This is a service report of a car I was interested in buying (2nd hand). Its 2022 Kia Sonet HTX Plus, 26,000km driven.

But the only thing I can deduce from its service report is that, this car had a front end crash, now pardon me, I am no expert in cars or anything so am here to get my doubts cleared.

Thanks for your time.

edit : More details :

I found this car on Cars24, and they say they dont sell cars with accidental history, but as others have pointed out this car clearly had a major front crash.

2011 Hero honda pleasure - Scrap or Restore?

Hey folks, this is my mother's Hero honda pleasure.

It's a 2011 model. It's not been used for 2 years now. It needs

- servicing - i am expecting approximately 4k

- tyres - 3k

- Repassing - 8k approx

- HSRP - 0.5k

Total - 15k approx

I have a wego and a pulsar in perfect condition and do not need another scooty.

Would it make sense to go through all this process or to just scrap it and get it over with?

I am not aware of the scrapping process and expecting it to be a hassel anyway. Any suggestions and takes are welcome. Appreciate you reading till the end!! TIA

3 month old Kia Syros 1.0 Turbo GDI idle issue

My Kia Syros 1.0 Turbo GDI DCT has ran about 5000 kms and I have noticed this weird idle issue since last week. It occurs randomly after the car has ran and engine is at operating temperature. The AC is off and there is no load. There idle is not stable and exhaust gas is not linear and there is sudden burst of gas when the car drops rpm. I visited the service centre today and they said since this is not occurring regularly send video if it appears again which I did. I wonder what is happening. Any suggestions?

Can I use a Skoda Octavia as my daily driver?

So basically my wife had purchased the Octavia solely for the purpose of having a "Garage Queen". She would only occasionally take it to her kitty parties. The car is otherwise in good shape and well maintained. It did have the infamous ghost screen problem and two battery changes later the entire display unit was removed and replaced with a new updated one and the problem has been fixed for good. I have never used it for myself so far. Recently I have decided to get rid of my old Verna 1.6 CRDi as it is encroaching it's end of life (the blursed 10 year rule in Delhi). So I was thinking of making the Octavia my daily driver. My daily routine is just home to work (10 minutes drive) and back twice. And frequent long drives on the Highway. I was wondering if this is a good idea. Can the Octavia be used on a daily basis? What are the pitfalls I should be aware of?

Query on changing of timing chain

Hi,

I own a 2017 model brezza. It has just completed 1 lakh km. When i gave the car for service at indus service centre. they mentioned its advised to change the timing chain and related parts(for around 14000 rs) for diesel cars once it completes 1 lakh km. They said this without inspecting the condition of the timing chain. For now i said not to change it. Is it mandatory to change it after 1 lakh km? I dont see any issues with the car for now.

MG Hector gearbox issue post service, Dealership now blaming corrosion and asking ₹1+lakh

My 1-year-old MG Hector (8,000 km driven, under warranty + insured) developed a gearbox malfunction immediately after the 3rd service.

Initially, the dealership said it was a “shifter issue” and claimed they fixed it by reinstalling the same shifter. But the car failed again during delivery itself. They first said they will replace it with a new gearbox (as it is under 3 yr warranty) but later rejected.

Now they’re saying a connector/wiring under the bonnet has corrosion/rust and the entire wiring harness may need replacement costing ₹1 lakh+.

Important points:

  1. No gearbox issues before service
  2. Problem started right after service
  3. Engine bay was washed during service

I’ve never touched/opened anything under the bonnet.

Diagnosis changed multiple times. They stated that MG asks for additional steps to perform before sending their technician, so they found the corrosion issue with that.

Does this sound normal for a 1-year-old car? Can engine washing/service handling cause this kind of issue?

They are pushing for insurance claim but saying 50% chance of getting it. What can I do guys, this was the first car I bought.

TL;DR:
1-year-old MG Hector started showing gearbox errors immediately after service. Dealer first blamed shifter, now saying corroded wiring/connector needs ₹1 lakh replacement and may not be covered under warranty. Issue started only after service.

How much will denting and retouching cost me for this car?

I've got this car from an uncle. The car's engine is in superb condition even after doing 1.63 lakh kms. Just the body has some dents, scratches and bumper is also coming out from the sides. How much is it going to cost me to get it fixed?

I bought my honda amaze 3rd gen cvt top end in 2025 april. My 3rd free service was over in Feb 2026
Earlier also.. had got only 9-10kmpl in city. Thought that due to city traffic it is less. But after 3rd free service experiencing further dip in mileage getting in range of 8 kmpl or less

Is it normal in honda amaze and should i be concerned or any possibility of improper service or possible components leading to the dip. Shoukd i go back to honda service centre to check it

I liked honda better than other cars when i selected it compared to nissan magnite or renault kiger due to it’s premium build quality and reliability of Honda engines for long term. Even my father has honda jazz cvt for 10 years without any issue.. Now i start regretting taking honda due to Mileage issue and poor cabin sound insulation.

This is my 2007 Honda City. Now used primarily by my grandma and her driver to drive her from and to home-town.

Doesn't see more than 700-1000 km per month and very less night driving, so I'd prefer not buy a new windshield.

Anyway I can repair this through buffing or something?

Else how much does a new windshield for 2007 Honda City cost?

I am a student and new to driving and while parking I crashed the car in a pillar. (i20 Asta)
The Headlight has been broken and the bumper also looks crashed.
Im feeling very guilty of crashing the car and now I have to tell my father about it!!
But Im thinking to get it repaired with my own pocket money.
Can someone please tell me how much will it cost to get it repaired??
Please tell if I should get the headlight replaced or bumper replaced??
Or should I just drive it with normal mechanic repair?? 😭😭😭😭
Im too stressed, please let me know
Please dont say INSURANCE. That option is not available, so please tell me how can I get it repaired with least amount of money!???!!
