This is my ‘94 specialized Rockhopper sport. It’s got red SE bikes cub tires, Cult Salvation stem, Surly Sunrise bars, ODI Troy Lee signature grips, Chester Race face pedals, and then everything else is pretty original Shimano stx (3x7 speed) drivetrain, Specialized Z21 rims w/ Shimano STX hubs. Next up grade will probably be the saddle.
I've had this bike since 2001 and last year went the mtbmx route with it. Rides very nice and my aging back is much happier!
Back finally said its had enough and Ive got to sell my baby. Im gonna be digging it out of the shed in the next week or so. Its a mostly Aluminum build:
GT Pantera double diagonal aluminum frame - with OG GT Performer handlebars, straight aluminum forks, aluminum cranks and pedals, I fit the largest front sprocket I could / Continental reverse treat town and country tires so super low rolling resistance.
I built this when I lived in downtown Boston as an urban assault vehicle - its an absolute beast!
Just thought to ask this sub if theres a best place to list online. I live in rural Atlantic Canada so not too many around here! I was actually pumped to find this sub over the winter and would really like to find a good home vs a ton of money sorta thing.
