Would a chain tensioner suffice for a dingle (2x1) setup or should I just use a derailleur?
Looking to do a 2x chainring setup with 8 tooth difference (36 /28) and a single speed rear hub.
I've never used a chain tensioner and don't know if it could actively address slack for the chainrings.
Or should I just retain the current derailleur as a hack tensioner?
