I am getting Chemical/mechanical

I would like to know abt these branches, is this good ?

How is placment opportunities there most probably in core or branch related field?(like if I choose say mechanical then i would not target cse job most probably)

Is anyone planning to learn ML this summer? Would be great to have people to learn alongside — share resources, solve doubts, and stay consistent. DM if interested!

hi seniors I wanted to know I can get mnnit civil easily getting mostly core branches in mid NITs mech and all people told me civil is easy and chill but I want to prep for IT placements how many companies do let civil people sit for placements and I am okay to put great efforts into DSA and comp coding but if companies would sort me out just for being from core should I take IIITs or do companies allow if you have good skills or even minors in CS after 2nd sem. pls help me out what to do

Out of nearly 103 ee students, only 78 were eligible for placements, and 62 were placed, Why is that? Is such pattern true for other branches and other nits as well?

How many are getting placed in core or IT. Is the placement data published on their official site reliable or is it inflated?

How is the coding culture in electrical engineering branch? What are the major companies which come to hire here? What about the internships here. On average how many get those internships and PPOs in electrical branch?

Should i consider nit rourkela electrical in place of mnnit electrical?

Which 2nd year hostel is best among all ??

So I am a second dropper and due to some negatives in my paper my percentile stayed 98

My gf is in MNNIT and she is in cse

I too can take civil or biotech and go there but she fears that boys might trouble me there or make me feel down.she says college is dominated by cse people and I might feel overwhelmed.she says that college facilities for other branches are not that good

She wants me there but she is scared that I might be treated badly by peers and seniors if they get to know my gf is in cse and I am in lower branch, we are together since 10th standard and my percentile took unexpected turn due to some negatives in exam

What are your suggestions?
