Hey guys I’ve never been to summer smash, or rolling loud, or basically any festival tbh. Been to a few concerts though but I saw a lot of videos of trash cans being hurled into the air at rolling loud. Is this a common phenomenon at summer smash??😭 I really don’t want to get clocked in the head by a trash can while minding my business

going to be driving from oak brook area, hoping traffic leaving west lot wont be too bad, but if anyone has experience parking previous years, i'm curious how bad it is. Not sure if it would be better to park a few blocks away or in the actual stadium parking lot.

Hi everyone! My gf and I have decided to fly to Chicago for just one day to see Skrillex, ISOxo, Whethan, and 2hollis on Saturday. We’ve done dozens of EDM and mixed genre music festivals, but never a hip-hop festival. We typically never do VIP for EDM festivals because we love the GA crowds energy, but I’m not huge into the rage culture and I’m worried that the Summer Smash GA crowds will be too rowdy for me lol. That being said though, I’m also worried that if we do VIP, the crowds won’t be head banging nor have much energy (we love moshpits!). Obviously we’re fine with staying towards the back of crowds especially for a DJ set, but we know absolutely nothing about this fest lol. If there are other people that are going Saturday just for the EDM, pls give me some advice!! :) also if there are any other artists that we should keep an eye out for on Saturday, lmk!
