I’ve heard so many people say Carti isn’t that great of a preformer but that narrative usually comes from people who want a 1:1 studio vocal performance, but that’s not what a Carti show is about.
If you want a melodic, "perfect" vocal performance from a rapper, go see Rod Wave or someone like that.

A Carti show is more like a punk rock concert than a traditional rap show. It’s about the atmosphere, the high-production aesthetic, and the raw energy. He isn’t there to recite lyrics into a mic; he’s there to curate a vibe that feeds off the crowd.
Every time he turns tf up, the pit responds, and he feeds off that energy in a way very few artists can. I’ve seen him three times now, and the energy is unmatched.

People need to stop judging him by "traditional" rap standards—he’s by far the best performer from his XXL class because he actually understands how to create an experience, not just a recital.

I’m glad YB dropped out last minute Ken set the place on fire and was a way better choice he brought out Carti Young Thug Lone and Tecca YB couldn’t top that even if he tried he only did 1 RL Ken has been to way more RLs (you can’t even mosh to YB the same way you can to Ken Carson) Nevertheless I hope y’all enjoyed yourselfs and I’ll hopefully see y’all next year in them pits
