Finally got my Switch 2 after 3 years of (literally) Experience (ba dum tss)

Really excited to finally have the Switch! A bit sad they didn't make blue ones 😂 Tried them out with some loud music playing and you can hear the difference between each level! Was always unsure about them because of the price, but after my psychologist suggested me to get them i decided to check them out again and finally bought them. (Honestly they're all so gorgeous i would buy all of them just for collecting them like rocks). Does anyone know if they are comfortable enough after an hour or two of wearing? They're chunkier so i guess the ears will start to ache a little bit?

Switch Users- How do you like them?

I have had experience loops, and two sets of experience plus (lost the original and one from a set of experience). The archive sale has some switch loops on sale and I remember when they came out and I’ve looked at them for a little while and am debating getting them. How do you like them?

For context, I use my experience at concerts, dj sets, and loud movie theaters. Sometimes I use them at work when listening to an audio book or podcast with one headphone and need to be responsive to people but eliminate the background noise

Already got mine from the Archive Sale, somehow!

Seems like the package has some discoloration, but can't wait to try them out! Already had the Experiences

Which ones would you recommend?

I have horrible migraines and they have been flaring up more than usual. I need something that will block out the extra loud noises- machinery, beeping etc but I still need to hear conversations or if I’m being paged at work. I’d use them mostly for work sporadically but at home when the dogs are barking would also be great. I also do have sensitive ears and wearing ear buds at times is annoying.

I was looking at the experience 2 but if there is another one more fitting I’d appreciate the feedback.

Archive code - thanks!

I just want to thank you peeps here who shared the password for the archive sale here yesterday.

I literally received my mail with the code just now 🤨

So: thanks to this subreddit I actually got access before stuff got sold out 😎

Best earplugs

Hi everyone! Id just like a little advice.

Im autistic and i get very very nervous of the sound of planes and jets. I live near multiple RAF bases so there's nearly always the sound of a Plane or something going over. They're very loud and scary and they make my anxiety really bad.

Which earplugs would be best to block out this noise? I know loop earplugs are really recommended for people with autism and such.

Thank you for your help. :)

Xl earplugs eu/sweden

Received my loop engage 2 plus plugs but unfortunately even using the largest tip, I just can't get a good seal in my right ear. Been trying to find some replacement tips but no one seems to be selling xl sizes. 😞 Is anyone aware of compatible tips available for order in Europe? I looked for azla on Amazon but couldn't find any xl listings.

Loop Switch 2 or Engage 2

I want to get my mom some loop earplugs. I have a very loud house because my dad is a drummer. Ideally, my mom would wear them when my dad plays, but I know she will not because she'll say she's been around him playing for 25 years, so it's too late to save her ears lol. But I mostly want to get them for her when she's at work. She's an art teacher. I want ones where she can hear conversation, but blocks out some of the background noises because she gets overstimulated. Should I go with the Engage 2 or the Switch 2?

Loop vs Custom earplugs for music enjoyment (as a music producer)

Hi all, I'm sure this thread sees this question often but I've searched for a while and can't find help for my specific situation.

I am a musician and owned custom earplugs for a while which supposedly attenuated the level evenly across the frequency spectrum but I misplaced them. I have a few events and gigs coming up and was wondering if the loops are a decent alternative, at least until I find my customs (hopefully). Or should I just go ahead and get a new pair of custom earplugs instead.

I really enjoy music and need these for recreational and semi professional use and obviously i hate the cheap earplugs that muffle or distort sound indiscriminately. I would also love to use these more for casual uses like public places, bars and smaller social gatherings that are still just a bit too loud.

So basically just wondering if any of the loop plugs will offer similar volume reduction without losing too much high frequencies and generally good volume suppression for live music.

I'm also not too worried about fit since i never seem to have a problem with foam inserts in my ears. i wear airpod pros a lot for noise cancelling and they never really bother me or fall out

Any advice from other musicians, music lovers or audio engineers that also have experience with loops vs customers would be great! thank you!

Seeking advice: alternative to Loop Quiet 2 due to removal of 14mm XL ear tip

I used to love the Loop Quiet 2 but they stopped making it in the XL 14mm ear tips and it seems like they don't offer this size for any of their products anymore! I am looking online for alternatives and have tried foam alternatives but they keep falling out during sleep. Does anyone know of a product that has a similar design to loop but has an XL 14mm ear tip? I really love these earplugs for sleep and the smaller sizes don't create a proper seal and just fall out of my ears!

Payment Processing Issue w/no solution?

So, I was trying to buy turn the archive sale yesterday. It kept saying that there was a problem processing my payment and to try again later. I tried once more and then waited till today.

I re-input in my card information, double checked everything that could possibly be causing it on my end. Balance is fine, Even contacted my financial institution to see if they had blocked, which they had not.

I dont have another card to try, just the one. I dont use PayPal or venmo or any of that. I barely know what "shop afterpay" even is.

I refuse to use these things for specific reasons, but even if I could get another card it would be too slow to buy during the sale. I made a different purchase elsewhere with no issues, on the same card.

Its not an issue on my end, so tried to use the contact form and the chat and I got a robot that said a real person would contact me back later and to not start any new chats in the meantime, but it's about a whole day later, now, and I still haven't heard from them. No email the chat window doesn't show anything new et.Cetera.

I know a single day is generally not a reasonable expectation, but I have previously had no issues with customer service response, they were responsive and friendly....even replaced a set that on one plug mysteriously cracked, with no extra cost or shipping, all conducted via email with a real person once I reached out from the contact page.

Assuming there's even enough stock left for my order now, how can I contact someone for real??

Or is there some workaround or some thing I could be doing wrong that people dont usually think of?

Does loop website juat magically hate my card?? (Mostly joking)

I normally use these like, 24/7 for neurodivergent noise sensitivity and following conversations or TV dialouge, among other things, and Ive now been without my earplugs for months because I lost one and currently cant afford the 2's. And I'm going on a plane Tuesday.

I need to get these on sale, now. Both for the plane and so I can regain sanity but its being blocked for unknown reasons and I have no recourse so far.

Ideas?

Question about loops comfort

Hello,

I want to buy Loop Earplugs for sleeping.

But I have an ear deformation which causes huge pains in my ear and migraines when i put anything in my ear (that's why I only use headsets for music)

I use soft ear plugs (the non reusable ones) for sleeping and feel like I'm wasting money, so I'd like to get a pair of ear loops but I'm really scared they'll hurt me like airpods/earbuds do.

Does anyone have a similar experience ? Thoughts?
