Alright. Give me your honest opinions.

My fear is that MGK is going from ruining one genre to the next, AGAIN! My opinion of Fred is still intact after his wretched collaboration with Corey Feldman, let’s see what happens here :/

My Wes Borland Rhoads

Finally finished my Wes Borland Rhoads, all started after picking up a black 1993 Jackson Standard Rhoads Professional which was all sanded down, prepped, painted in nitro vintage white and then reliced. It came with a Charvel/Schaller tremolo which was replaced by an original Floyd Rose, a chrome tremolo arm with the black tape and all titanium string lock screws, saddle mounting screws and string locks. Blue Seymour Duncan Invader bridge pickup with a blue pickup ring with only a volume knob which was replaced by a chrome one (the original was black) rainbow sticker and the Michael sticker on the headstock and I’m stoked with how it tured out. Huge shoutout to u/Crafty_Scheme_8524 for all the help.

Nu-Metal Founding Mfers

Hey there!

I've been listening to far too much Limp Bizkit these last few months, so I thought I'd share this career timeline of the Founding Motherf**ers Fathers of Nu-Metal.

This is part of my music project in which I am creating charts showing career timelines for bands, documenting rivalries and movements and so on. It's mainly to stave me off looking at photos of Sydney Sweeney online haha!

Anyone can join and create their own graphs too.

I don't know Nu-Metal inside out, but most of you probably do, so very happy to hear from you if this list is any good.

The graph is interactive btw - you can click on an album and then play the videos for the tracks within.

Enjoy!!

The song by Machine Gun Kelly in collaboration with Fred Durst was released

The song that many of you were hating is finally out!

Even though I'm not the biggest MGK fan (and I'm a bit of a hater), I have to admit that I really liked this song because of Limp Bizkit's groove, although I would have liked it more if there had been at least one verse from Fred Durst.

Did you like the song? https://youtu.be/8ULmhXO4gks?si=KN0ATP5_Yn3IsKEY

Is this guy really Fred Durst's nephew?

I don't think Fred has ever mentioned having a nephew that makes music.

Fred Durst wants a Coachella alternative for those who don't get invited - what would that look like?

I take anything Fred says with a heavy pinch of salt, he seems to think out loud a lot. However, my memory says he was at least heavily involved with the Family Values tour and he’s got his A&R history.

If the stars aligned and he really did organise something, what do you think it would look like?

One-off show? Annual show? Annual touring festival? How many stages? What genre of artist? Which artists? USP? Can I play there?

I wouldn’t mind something like Family Values happening again. Feels like those kinds of touring festivals (Family Values, SnoCore, Ozzfest, etc) died in the mid-2000s and nostalgia might bring that kind of event back. I’d love to see Durst team up with someone like Ian Mackaye to make it a truly accessible event, where it’s less about the prestige of being there and more about embracing the music while still turning a small/sustainable/realistic profit. But I also believe it’ll never happen.

This might actually be the worst Tier list ever bro

I included the mental aquaducts and demo cassette stuff, the unfinished stampede of the disco elephants album, and the battlefield 6 songs. I just notice people tend to not include one of the albums for some reason lol. i just thought adding this stuff would give it a bit more variety
