I’m trying to do some final ring shopping at a store to pick a final rock for an engagement ring soon. We don’t track each other religiously but I don’t want to risk the chance that she looks at it randomly. Is there anyway for me to delete or not include myself for a portion of time to go and meet with these people?

(There’s really no BS excuse I could come up with for being anywhere near the area I need to be.)

I’ll leave my phone if need be, but wanted to see if there was another option.

I’m sneaking out of the country to go to Ireland for a week, I have life 360 though.. how do I get around that? Should I get a burner phone? Worst comes to worst, I’m more worried about doing a trick, and my location accidentally reseting while I’m in Ireland…

I’ve never snuck out of the house. i’ve never lied about where i am. then all of a sudden about a year ago at this point, my mom makes me download this stupid, useless, pathetically made app. this app is taking away my freedom because a couple weeks ago i tried to go to a PARTY, then literally not 30 minutes into being there im being spam called. my older sister never had to deal with this bullshit so why tf do i?? life360 is literally a parental stalking app disguised as simple location app. this app is supposed to be for “____ hasn’t gotten home yet, i should check his location to make sure he’s fine” not a “im gonna watch my teens every slight move and make sure he doesn’t make a wrong turn, because if he does i’m gonna call him!” fuck life360.

I (20F) am a third year college student at a university only an hour and a half away from home. As soon as my family got life360 all he does is stalk me. I usually know when he checks my location bc he will accidentally hit one of the notification buttons like “Love ya” and stuff like that. About a year ago he told me it was because of his anxiety and he just wants to make sure I’m ok. I understand his point of view, but I am a full grown adult and would appreciate not having him constantly watching my every move. It increases my anxiety and I feel like there are places I can’t go or stay too long at. I need help figuring out a way to tell him that I need him to stop stalking me

So my app has not recorded the past 2 trips as “finished” (showing the risky events) for one Circle Member.

It shows they are moving but is not completing the trips or showing me the speed. Google says Drive Detection is off but when I check, it says if Drive Detection if off it doesn’t show your location at all.

What is causing this?

Edit: I’m not getting notified that they have Low Power Mode on either. Usually it won’t update location when it’s on but I see the location just not the trips or risky events.

I recently joined my family's Life360 and it's reporting my speed wildly inaccurately. To start, I'll just say that I'm a 40 year old woman who doesn't answer to anyone and have no reason to make this up. I am just the aunt on the account bc my nieces like to see my location.

This week it showed my top speed as 136 mph which is absolutely insane. I don't even think my car goes that fast and I'm a generally safe driver. I could see maybe hitting 90 if I'm on the highway and need to pass someone but generally even if I'm on the highway I'm usually going 5-7 over (maybe 10 if I'm not paying attention). I actually have a lot of driving anxiety so I'm pretty hyper aware of my speed most of the time. Other weeks it's shown me going over 100 too which is just not possible.

I've tried to rack my brain for any other explanations. Maybe it was when I was on the metro/subway but then I looked that up and those go max 75 mph. I haven't been on any planes or amusement park rides or anywhere else where my phone would get up to those speeds.

Does anyone else experience this or know what could be happening? It's not a huge deal but mostly I don't want my nieces who are also on the app to think I'm driving that fast or that it's okay to drive that fast. They're 20 and 15 and I don't want them thinking it's okay to drive recklessly or that their aunt is doing so.

I just opened the app to see if someone had left for work and it tried to get me to verify my age. Whatever, fine. Well I guess I did it wrong because apparently I put that I'm under 13 and need a parent or guardian, and I need an ID verification.

I'm very iffy about this. I don't really want to go putting my ID into a location app, that just sounds like a bad idea. So has anyone found a way to bypass it? This is ridiculous and would literally be the reason I delete the app after like 10 years of usage, since when I WAS under 13.

i have no idea why, but i don’t get any notifications from life360. if they’ve arrived or left a place, battery percentage, safe drive, etc, i get nothing. notifications are on, on my settings, the actual life360 app settings, but still nothing. i have an iphone.

i have no idea how to fix it, everything google suggests is already on. restarted my phone, still…nothing. what can i do?

I’m 20F and living with my parents (in a country where that’s the norm). I usually go from uni to hang out with friends then go home. They’re very strict and it’s kind of complicated but I’ll just get to the point.

Just a few months ago I used to just turn off wifi from settings then disable data for the app and it worked perfectly, didn’t show history or anything, however in the recent updates that changed. I tried the same but with low battery mode and still showed history.

I’ve been scrolling here for about an hour now and I’ve only seen people either say turn off wifi and do the same thing I did or offload the app (not delete).

So if offloading the app really is the way, I need to know details of their pov. Does it show a grey profile? Say offline? Notify them in any way? Does it show history after redownloading? They don’t really care if the location jumps so these are my only concerns.

Edit: guys I’m in an arab country I can’t get kicked out I would literally risk my life. Girls can’t leave their parents house unless they’re married, but I just wanna live my life peacefully so please help if you can. I understand that it’s hard to comprehend a different culture/society but that’s just how it works here.

Edit: I tried offloading it today. Worked perfectly. I recommend if anyone’s wondering. The profile was normal just said last updated x hours ago. I redownloaded after about 5-6 hours. When I redownloaded it, it didn’t show any history my location just jumped to where I was. For sneaking out however, I’m not sure if it would say that you left the house or not.
