regular 87 gas. lmao. no premium ever

I’ve been driving my new nx 350h premium for a few days and love it. A couple of times on the highway I was moving from middle lane to right lane and felt like the car was fighting me a bit - kind of startled me tbh - almost like when you’re changing lanes and a big gust of wind makes it harder. What are peoples experiences with all of these safety features- do you ever experience a situation where the car is trying to correct a situation that’s not there ? Any tips and tricks I should know about?

This happened for the second time just the other day.

The first time around, I was waiting in the car while my wife was at an appointment. I had it turned off, I’m quite sure, but don’t fully recollect. Anyway, when she returned we weren’t able to get the car started and needed to get the battery jumpstarted by CAA.

The second time around I was at a doctors appointment and my wife was waiting in the car. I couldn’t have been longer than an hour, if that. The car was turned off for sure, and when I returned, we weren’t able to start it. I had to get somebody to jumpstart the battery once again.

I’m quite perplexed as to why this would’ve happened. We have a brand new battery. In fact, after the first time around Lexus replaced it for us free of charge. I’d appreciate any thoughts or suggestions from the community.

After months of bugging people on Reddit, I’m a proud owner of a NX 450h F Sport!

I went into the dealership, test drove the 2 options and colors I was debating and I was sold!

I knew I wanted a hybrid and I like the colors Cloudburst Grey and Ultra White. I already had red interior in my previous car so I was fine with black interior.

I was debating between the F Sport and Luxury trim, I was originally fine with the Luxury trim but I couldn’t get over the non color matching fenders but in darker colors it wasn’t as noticeable. I thought the difference was going to be the seats but when I test drove I knew the F Sport was better suited for me. The F Sport was in Cloudburst Grey and the Luxury was in Ultra White.

I didn’t want the plug in hybrid but they had better deals on the PHEV I couldn’t pass it up plus these NXs are selling like hot cakes and they can’t keep them on the lot, especially the Cloudburst Grey so I went with that options. I had assumed the PHEV was fully electrical but I was wrong and it has more HP, so why not lol.

And thank goodness for being a Costco member, got a nice discount off of it.

Which features on your new NX hybrid have you used the most? Any features you fear? I still have not used the automatic parking or the hold mode. I also wondered about the EV mode as well as remote start, anyone else, let’s have a conversation. I’ve also noticed that at times I’m getting 39 mpg and sometimes 33. . I’m happy either way though.

What’s your opinion on these trims? If you have won, what made you decide on that trim and what made you not pick the other trims. Besides price, I would like to get real people thoughts. The lot I test drove didn’t have these trims available for me to drive or see in person. I test drove the Luxury 450+ and it was smooth but I’m not interested in this trim.

I realize that after recent software update car begins to break in traffic or red light automatically when approaching another vehicle. Did anyone notice that?

I just got mine on Thursday and was chatting with some coworkers about charging at home and many of them mentioned they charge their Teslas on the driveway and close the garage on the hose. Has anyone done that with the Lexus hose? Seems like it would mess with the hose right?

its not the biggest deal, but i srsly dont understand the paddle shifters that my car has (26 nx450h+ if it makes a different). Is there a plastic cover or smth to cover the where the paddle shifter would use to be? has anyone just taken it off and left it like that
