I bet half of montreal's uber/lyft taxis are just guys who paid 200 cad to use bus/taxi lane during rush hour. That's not a taxi business, that's commute hack

Honestly suprized more people haven't caught on. the lanes are half-empty anyway and Montreal has bigger enforcement problems to deal with

also heard somewhere that a budget airline CEO who registered a taxi company to use a reserved bus corridor.

My dentist retired, so I’m looking for a new one. Does anyone know a decent dentist/clinic, ideally in the Chomedey/St Dorothee area, that can offer appointments fairly soon (say, within 2-3 months)? My dental cleaning is overdue, and one clinic offered me an evening appointment in October... Or are they all super busy with long wait times?

Ça fait genre 4 fois en 2 mois que le compost est ramassé en retard (lendemain ou surlendemain et) dans mon secteur (Vimont) aujourd'hui il est maintenant 20h et il est toujours pas ramassé... Donc je présume que ça ira à demain.

Est-ce que vous avez des problèmes aussi?

On habite à Montréal présentement et on se magasine une maison à Laval. On en a trouvé une, qui semble bien. Ma blonde, qui a grandi à Laval, est vraiment pas sûre parce qu'elle a grandi en entendant dire que l'école Mont-De-La Salle c'est ben terrible et que les élèves sont beaucoup du trouble. Or la maison qu'on a trouvé est à deux coins de rue de l'école.

Est-ce qu'il y a du monde ici qui sont au courant de la vibe?

Je crois qu'on en est rendus à se demander ce qui se passe avec les divers ramassages en retard ou manqués.

It's been a few weeks since this change has been made and it's become very noticeable in a short amount of time.

I live in a complex with 8 units and another complex with the same amount of people nearby. My whole area is small apartments.

The smell has become unbearable and I've for the first time seen cockroaches on the bins along with rats at night time.

The bins are piled high with garbage and can't be closed properly and the recycling is the same. We have very little heat but the temperature is above freezing now and I can smell shitty diapers from the bins.

Who actually thought this was a good idea ??? Does our city council actually do anything for people or just avoid raising taxes at the expense of services , I honestly regret having voted for our city government. These people do absolutely nothing for the taxes we pay , bus routes are cut to rural parts of the island , garbage cans in public places are rare , roads that look like shit. All i ever see is lots of police doing nothing besides harassing people.

En début d'août dernier un policier m'avait interpellé pour avoir roulé sur une zone hachurée de la chaussée (j'étais obligé pour éviter une auto qui a foncé devant moi de la ligne gauche). Il m'a dit qu'il va m'envoyer un ticket. Hier apres presque 9 mois, un huissier s'est présenté chez moi en mon absence et a remis le ticket et a fait signer mon enfant qui lui a ouvert la porte.

Allo! Par curiosité, savez-vous pourquoi, dans ce secteur précis, y'a une odeur de moufette morte remplie de térébenthine plein de pisse de chat trouvée dans un crack house cachée dans un bac à compost de resto chinois tout ça fourré dans un cadavre en putréfaction?

Particulièrement drette dans la courbe ou Dagenais devient Bellerose O. jusqu'à la gare Vimont je dirais.
