korean lash lift looking botched?

just got this lift today, the technician was saying it turned out great and her clients always ask for 90 degrees kinda lift at the outer corners. I feel like it looks unnatural and uneven, what do I do?

Anyone tried Luxe lash lift? Thoughts/tips?

Instagram got me and I bought this at home kit 🫣 has anyone here used it? Or lash pros - do you have any thoughts? I’m a licensed hairstylist so am not intimidated from a chemical/safety standpoint… i’m intimidated from a technique standpoint. I just don’t want my lashes to end up overlifted onto my eyelids.

TIA!!

This is the worst lash lift I’ve ever seen. I want to cry😭 What should I do?

I just finished my lash lift. I paid $140 including tip for a lash lift and tint combo and the results are really bad. I want to cry.😭

How long do your lash lifts last you?

I know the advertisement for lifts is that they last 6-8 weeks.

I feel like mine look great for 2 weeks, by week 3-4 they start looking funky, and by 5-6 they are basically flat/back to normal with the exception of a few lashes that are hanging on.

Korean lash lift :/

The first picture is from the day I got my Korean lash lift, and the other two are from today (Day 2). My lashes are semi-long, but I’m a bit disappointed because they already seem to have lost their lift. I’m not sure if they weren't done properly or if this is just how they're supposed to look. Should I reach out to my lash tech about this?

What do you think of this lash lift?

Hey guys, this is the first lift I got and honestly I'm a little bit disappointed. My natural lashes are quite straight in the sense that they don't overlap, the results on my right eye I see that the tips of some of my lashes are somewhat bent or burned (I don't know the terms). I feel like some lashes ended up horizontal without the lifting effect. On my left eye, I think the result is more acceptable. Even so, I don't think I'll go back to the technician who did them. What's your opinion?

Update to yesterday’s failed lift: the fix was a success!

After yesterday’s semi failed lift, I was nervous to go back today for a “quick fix.” But I shouldn’t have been worried, thanks to some great advice from this sub I was able to communicate my worries to my lash tech. I think she did a great job and my lashes look like how I expected them to look yesterday. She threw in a free lash conditioner as well. First pic is today’s fix, second is yesterday’s subpar results.

Korean Lash Lift Question

Hi! I have a question for the lash techs :) - I just got my first korean lash lift versus doing just a regular lift, and the lift itself is amazing, but the lashes are gooey and together like they are wet, versus being fanned out in a regular lift (I hope this makes sense, sorry!).

Is this normal/will they fan out after a day? Should so try to brush them out so they fan out more? Or are they supposed to stay as this wet look? I would prefer them to be fanned out and fluffy so maybe I made the wrong choice choosing this lift which is no big deal, I’ll just know for next time!

Any advice or insight would be appreciated, thank you!

Would you fix this?

UPDATE: she fixed them today and they look great. I’ll see if I can add a picture to this post.

I got a lash lift today. I can’t count how many I’ve had over the years, usually I go twice a year before something like a trip. Today I felt like my lashes were not really curled enough. They don’t look like how previous lifts have looked. I reached out to my tech and she said it’s an easy fix and that I should be in and out in about 30 mins and she can fit me in tomorrow. She also said she would throw in a free lash conditioner since I’m worried about my lash health. I think this sounds pretty reasonable but I would like some other opinions. Would you get these fixed? First picture is today’s lash lift, second picture is the last one I got at the end of November. Same tech. I see a difference, especially in the center lashes. The outer corners have a nice curl. My tech said she didn’t change the rod size, but that many things can affect the way the lift turns out. But she assured me it will be an easy fix. What are your thoughts?

Should i remove them ?!!

Its my first time ever to try lash extensions or anything similar.

For context i had bought strip lash and turned them to cluster as i wanted to just add some length to the end of my lashes but when i started i ended up covering the complete eyelid.

I feel my right eye is better than the left one.

Do you guys think is it thaaaaat noticeable ?? Maybe im overthinking but is it bad ??? Should i remove them ??

Still not happy after relaxation

Had my first ever lash lift done on Tuesday and they were massively overprocessed or over curled and super irritating on my eyelids (first pic). Went back on Wednesday and she said it was because she’d used too small a rod and would use a big one, but I’m still not super happy (second pic).

Is there anything I can do now that they’ve been processed twice? Other than find a new place for next time!

First time getting lift and tint. Unsure if I like these results

My natural lashes are very light as I have red hair. We decided on a dark brown but these still look pretty black, also you can still see the natural color at the roots of my lashes. Should I contact the salon again tomorrow? This is my first time so I don’t know

How to fix lash lift?

Hi everyone, I just got a Korean lash lift and tint right now. One side doesn’t look lifted at all and I don’t know what to do to make it even. I have an event tomorrow and I feel very embarrassed with my lashes. :(

Petroleum jelly on lifted lashes??

So my understanding of the lash lift process has always been that oil isn't good for the curl. I thought that was why the recommendation is to avoid oily mascara remover etc.

But my beautician says that's not true! She says the only time to avoid oil on your lashes is just before a lash lift treatment, because the oil can get in the way of the chemicals they use. And after the treatment it's fine to put oil on your lashes.

What blew my mind is that she actually recommended using Vaseline (petroleum jelly) for lash care after a lift. She said the oil-free serums you get are a rip-off and Vaseline does an equally good job. She recommends using a little brush to put it on like mascara.

Is she right? Because if so, this opens up a lot more options!

Can I get honest feedback please, wanting to switch to Korean lash lifts.

These are traditional, and I think they turned out good. I think it is only because she has amazing lashes, normal lashes do not turn out as great. Should I switch to Korean lifts?

How long after a DIY lift can I do a tint?

I know you can do a tint straight after a lift but I didn’t have the tint kit. It’s been over 12 hours since I did the lift - can I do it now or should I wait after at least 24 hours (like mascara application)?
TIA

Previous reaction

Hi guys,

I had an LVL almost 8-9 years ago. Everything seemed fine until 48 hours later when I developed painful, stinging, irritated weeping red eyes. I had to be prescribed drops and take about 4-5 days off work. I never had an LVL again and I was gutted as the results were actually beautiful.

I started getting lash extensions about 2 years ago and stopped after a year so now I feel my lashes are straight and lifeless. I’ve seen Korean lash lifts on my feed recently but worried regarding reaction. I’ve read getting a patch test isn’t really indicative of a reaction occurring / not occurring although I will happily get one.

Is there much difference in the products used for lvl and Korean lash lifts?
