Help me decide between LOQ and Legion.

I’m getting my first gaming laptop and I’m a little tight on budget. I want to cut costs as much as possible without much damage to the performance as I wanna do some gaming and streaming. I’ll be playing high demanding games like cyberpunk and the new crimson dessert. I’ll also do some editing and learn Rendering.

I’m getting a legion at 142k with 5060, 16gigs ram, 1tb SSD and I’m getting LOQ at 129k with 5060, 32gigs ram, 1tb SSD…

Idk the difference in LOQ and Legion models do I’m confused because LOQ is cheaper but people say Legion is better… specs wise I think LOQ is better at same price point. I’ve used all discounts I know and only discount I can add is the UNiDAYS code which I don’t have but I’ll arrange one from my cousin.

[Advice] Legion 5 (R7 260, RTX 5060, OLED) @ 1.41L — Now or the "Summer Bonanza" worth the wait?

I’m about to pull the trigger on a **Lenovo Legion 5 (Gen 10)** from the Lenovo official website in a few days. I’ve customized the specs and the current price is **₹1,41,542**.

**Specs:**

* **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 260

* **GPU:** NVIDIA RTX 5060 (8GB GDDR7)

* **Display:** 15.1" WQXGA **OLED**, 165Hz, 500 nits

* **RAM/SSD:** 16GB DDR5 / 1TB Gen4 SSD

* **Payment:** Internet Banking

**My Questions:**

  1. **Summer Bonanza Sale:** I know Lenovo usually starts their "Summer Bonanza" in early May. Does this sale typically offer a "flat" price drop on the base model, or is it mostly focused on ₹1 accessory bundles and warranty extensions? I'm currently getting 3yr **ADP** & **LUS** in **₹1,176** & **₹2,203** respectively. Is it worth waiting 2 weeks?

  2. **UNiDAYS Discount Issue:** I have a verified UNiDAYS account, but the **flat 7% student code** isn't applying in the cart. It keeps saying "Coupon not applicable". Currently applied coupons are **EPIC5CTO** & **EXTRASAVINGS**. Has Lenovo stopped offering student discounts on the Gen 10 / RTX 50-series CTO models, or that doesn't stack on the current ones?

  3. **Payment Method:** Since I'm using **Internet Banking**, I'm missing out on the ₹10k–₹15k CC cashback. Also I can't use the **UPI** since it has a limit of 1L. Are there any specific "Net Banking" coupons or "Corporate" codes that give a better flat discount to offset this?

Thanks!

Is this the best I can buy for around 70K?

I will be playing heavy games(like the Crimson Desert) and this is the best laptop for the price of 70k(this is the max I can push). Any suggestions?

I wanna know how much can I get selling this laptop.

How much can I expect for this laptop?

Idk about its model but these are its specs (pretty old ik). It has 1Tb HDD. Screen is in perfect condition with ig no scratches as there’s a screen protector on it and no keyboard marks. Charger is also in good condition. No physical damage on the laptop and charger both. No windows activated but windows 10 pro installed.

I live in Nagpur, Maharashtra and I think i can ship it too if I get a good deal.

Reason for selling: getting a new gaming laptop but I don’t have an exchange pickup available at my location.

Is this laptop good enough in 82k

So I have been thinking of getting a all rounder laptop In which I can game a little

So is this a good laptop

The tgp and battery is good

But I am doubtful about cpu

As I also want to do a editing on this

Lenovo loq are good But they are hella expensive

Like 1lakh plus

So is it a good idea to buy this or should I wait for Lenovo price drop

Need advice on buying laptop for Programming.

I need a 14 inch laptop with good linux support. Not into Gaming. Only looking for coding and development purposes. Non negotiables are OLED 3k screen, 32GB RAM.

I am currently leaning towards Asus Zenbook 14 inch (the model in the pic). Tell me I am stupid for buying this laptop at this price :) Or if you have other suggestions, let me know.

Also is there a way to get this laptop cheaper ?

Selling old laptop folks how much can I expect ???

I wanted to sell HP 15s-gr0012AU how much can I expect?

It has little scratches here and there works fully fine

Processor - Ryzen 3 3250u

Ram - 8 gb ddr4 sodim

Storage - there is no storage attached to it right now I'm booting it using external drive can y'all tell me how much can I expect with 128gb nvme and how much without any drive (storage and ram prices in this economy 😭🙏🏻)

Battery is perfectly fine it was not used regularly

No discoloration/bleeding/spots on screen

If I can get 12k to 13k for it with 128gig nvme or 9k to 10k as is without storage I'm down and also tell me how much can y'all offer

Ik it pretty old but you can use it as retro emulation, multimedia server, nas, basically in home labs

I don't have windows on it rn coz I don't have spare nvme

Which one should I buy for college under 90k?

(Long read)

Guys I want a laptop, gonna be 1st year BBA student soon, need some future-proofing. The Surface Pro Tablet-PC seems sweet, but seems a little overpriced, and I'll have to buy accessories like the charger, keyboard, and stylus from third-parties (easy 5k more).

The other option is is the IdeaPad 2-in-1 (sub restriction, image in the comments)

The IdeaPad is cheaper, comes with a stylus, charger, and MS Office too (that the Surface DOESN'T include even though it's a microsoft product for some reason???)

My main concern is battery life, future proofing, performance, and maintenance.

The Surface promises 13-16 hours of battery life, and the IdeaPad only does 8. The Surface is Co-Pilot enabled; comes with an NPU, and a processor that is basically 1.3-1.5x faster, which I think will be useful in the future. On top of that, being a laptop, the Lenovo will also need more maintenance.

The Surface is also significantly lighter; coming in at less than 800gms (keyboard case included), VS 1.6kgs of the IdeaPad.

Basically, i need something with a decently sized display for note-taking, MS Office, some light video-editing, digital art, and is easy to carry everyday to-and-from college (80% attendance criteria).

If you know of something outside these two brands and are willing to suggest, I'm not gonna be looking at anything other than Dell.

Also, since the new generation Surface Pro is gonna launch sometime in May, there will be a price drop for previous gen devices; I'm guessing 8-10k at least.

Please lemme know if it's worth convincing my parents to spend extra ~10k by the time the next gen drops.

Edit:- Storage is not a concern, i already have a personal gaming laptop
