Which one should I buy for college under 90k?

(Long read)

Guys I want a laptop, gonna be 1st year BBA student soon, need some future-proofing. The Surface Pro Tablet-PC seems sweet, but seems a little overpriced, and I'll have to buy accessories like the charger, keyboard, and stylus from third-parties (easy 5k more).

The other option is is the IdeaPad 2-in-1 (sub restriction, image in the comments)

The IdeaPad is cheaper, comes with a stylus, charger, and MS Office too (that the Surface DOESN'T include even though it's a microsoft product for some reason???)

My main concern is battery life, future proofing, performance, and maintenance.

The Surface promises 13-16 hours of battery life, and the IdeaPad only does 8. The Surface is Co-Pilot enabled; comes with an NPU, and a processor that is basically 1.3-1.5x faster, which I think will be useful in the future. On top of that, being a laptop, the Lenovo will also need more maintenance.

The Surface is also significantly lighter; coming in at less than 800gms (keyboard case included), VS 1.6kgs of the IdeaPad.

Basically, i need something with a decently sized display for note-taking, MS Office, some light video-editing, digital art, and is easy to carry everyday to-and-from college (80% attendance criteria).

If you know of something outside these two brands and are willing to suggest, I'm not gonna be looking at anything other than Dell.

Also, since the new generation Surface Pro is gonna launch sometime in May, there will be a price drop for previous gen devices; I'm guessing 8-10k at least.

Please lemme know if it's worth convincing my parents to spend extra ~10k by the time the next gen drops.

Edit:- Storage is not a concern, i already have a personal gaming laptop
