So , I visited 2 showrooms recently for the Duke 390 R , one of them is new and the owner of the showroom ( BU Bhandari ) is quite famous here in my city for almost all showrooms ,

And visited another showroom which is a bit far away from my home (30 min drive ) where they tried to push me for the Duke 350 more , but they gave me the testride for the Duke 390 R as well

Now , I asked both showroom for booking cost etc , the

Bu bhandari guy is offering me 10 years warranty for free ,

Meanwhile the Other showroom salesman said that who would need a warranty for 10 years , the company already offers 5 years warranty

Asked him which helmet do they provide , he said best quality certified, I was excited to hear " KYT / ECE22.06 " but he said " Steelbird " hshsbdbahaha whattt

What should I do?

Also , how should I negotiate?

Can I get the acko insurance for the bike , saw it was cheaper (₹18000) approx

And ktm offers bajaj Allianz ₹25k

Should I ask the bu bhandari showroom for a KYT HELMET INSTEAD OF THE WARRANTY?

PLEASE GUIDE ME THROUGH THIS

Considering buying a duke 250 gen 3, what mileage should i expect in all sort of conditions like heavy traffic, highway, etc.

Also considering that, I'm a calm rider who won't be riding it an a hooligan.

Only need answers from people who own one or know for sure.

hey folks, I got this beaut BS3 Duke 200 almost 7 months back. I was driving it normally and one day the meter just went poof.

I was inside my parking where i turned it on and was normally checking trips and suddenly when i came out, and turned on the kill switch the meter didn't turn on. I thought the wiring was loose because I had a similar issue a few months back. The indicator lights turn on fine, but the neutral light doesn't turn on. I got it checked out at a mechanic nearby who told it was a meter issue not a wiring issue. Is there any way I can get the meter fixed or my only option is to get a new meter which might be difficult since it's a very old model.

Bought my adv 250 last month and rode about 4400kms and my brake pads had already worn out. Is this normal?

I've been using engine braking all the time and still this happened

Now changed to ceramic ones

Do recommend any other options and their dealers in Pune that I can visit, Tanks!

This is the insurance quote from Adv 390 (349cc). The max IDV is more than the on road price for this bike.. Anyone tried getting insurance for this bike from outside? I couldn't find this bike in any other websites.

I was planning to get the 250 Adv but now the 350 makes a lot of sense but the only issue is mileage because the 250 gives 30+ in city and 35+ on highway on the other hand the 390 Adv X gives 20-25 in city and around 30 on the highway will this mileage difference cost a lot in the long term? And what are the other things I should consider like other ownership costs?

This happened with me with our car purchase bought the XUV 3XO mainly due to its Turbo Petrol engine and good features but the mileage is always 12-13 so to maximize it I always have to drive it light footed and I am not able to get the fun out of it but sometimes when I am alone and there's and empty road I just dump the accelerator and it goes 120-130 easily but for that few fun drives I have to sacrifice every other drive I am fearing that this will happen with the bike also but I also won't be upgrading my bike soon so want to get the bike with a bit of headroom to grow which the 250 fails to give as the reviewers say so what should I do?

I've got an RC390 BS3, and when I push it in 3rd or 4th gear at high RPM, coolant starts spewing from the overflow pipe. Plus, I get a low oil pressure warning when I'm riding at high RPM. My oil level is always fine, but the bike loses power when that warning pops up.

What should I check?

I recently purchased Adv 390 (S variant) and did my first trip to Bangalore from Mumbai clocking 1001 kms. Got an amazing mileage with an average speed of 61 km/hr.

Did my 1st service in Marathali in Bangalore, it costed me around 2.8k INR.

Trip time :- 16 hrs approx.

Fuel used :- XP 95 and Shell V Power.

Customisation done:-

1. Handle bar risers from Legundary customs.

2. Top rack plate from Legendary customs.

3. Viaterra 55 L bag and dirtsack erupt rackless bags 24 liters each.

Good experiences:-

1. Cruise control used approximately for 350 kms and bike has an amazing stability with luggage. Cruised at almost 100 kmph with no hands on handlebar and still bike was stable.

2. Got an amazing mileage of 31 km/l

3. No overheating issues.

4. Quickshifter is really helpful.

5. Windscreen is tall and helps wind deflect efficiently.

6. Stock handlebar grips are good in terms of quality and grip.

Things I had to adjust with:-

1. Vibration at mid RPM like 4 to 5K RPM on all gears. I didn't feel vibrations after hitting 85+ kmph on 5th abd 6th gear. Bike was super smooth.

2. Stock seat isn't touring friendly (I have order new one from Sahara seats)

3. Stock light throw especially upper is useless at night, you will need auxiliary setup for sure (I have ordered ZANA ZFL 40)

I'm getting the 250 Adv for around 2.75L with Amazon discount and Acko insurance and the 350 Adventure costs around 3.35L which doesn't have any discount also it's not yet showing up on Acko for insurance what should I do? Get the 350 or 250 Adv is more than enough? I did test ride the 250 it's vibey but smoother on the higher revs , lightweight, seat height is manageable Good headlights but I have heard that people outgrow it very soon and it becomes boring

And the new 350 has good enough power, great electronics, more fun in the long terms but the mileage will be lower on the 350 and I think the service will be pretty similar right?

Are these really useful. I received this accessory today which is part of the complimentary accessories offer given by KTM india.

The dealer said that its basically not required and its useless. Also it is supposed to be pair but i think i have received the same part twice. I’m confused.

Got a new duke 200 last month. Seems like there is always some kind of leak in the engine after riding for more than 20 minutes.

Took it to the showroom and the service person said, it's the extra chain lube that is heating and spilling. But it seems like it is leaking in the screws. Should I be worried?
