Bob Weir’s Only A River by Joel Martin
Happy friday y'all! Have some music!
The other day I was doing a show at the exquisite Vega Vineyard & Farm in Buellton and recorded one of my favorite all-time songs, Only A River.
This was on Bob Weir's wonderful 2016 solo record Blue Mountian and written by Josh Ritter.
I looped a verse to solo over!

Kathleen Live Version Inquiry
There’s a live Josh album (live at vicar street) and during the song Kathleen, around halfway through, he’s playing the guitar and he just says “once, twice, three times a lady,” as in the song by The Commodores?? Does anyone have any sort of explanation or am I just overcomplicating a simple joke? Every time I hear it I get confused
