







Just looking for recommendations on a throttle setup. I have a single cable, internal throttle setup right now and I'm trying to fit up an S&S Super E. I like the idea of keeping an internal cable for the clean look, but like the dual cable for safety reasons. I feel like this is probably a dumb post, but should I just bite the bullet and get the push/pull conversion kit?
Finishing up some small fab work and some machine work on my buddies iron head. Few more little things on my end before it’s back with him. I don’t do professional fab work but try to help out wherever I can as a garage shop. This was fun because I was able to machine out some one off machined parts around the bike along with a few of my parts I offer on my website.
Around november last year i picked up this 78 custom sportster from my uncle with the addege that it hadnt been finished
Over the last week ive begun working on it but it needs a lot of custom work that hasnt been done such and a new wiring harness and complete exhaust system along with fuel lines and fixing the static timing.
I just need advice on how to solve these problems or where to buy the parts
First time post here! Inherited pop’s 1972 xlch. Have it looking fresh and had it running but could not get the clutch dialed in for the life of me. I wouldn’t mind someone who knows what they’re doing to give it the once over before i put some real miles on it. Anyone know a reputable wrench somewhere local to north IL, SE WI?
About 20 min after a ride in 70 degree weather, there's a quarter size puddle under the breather tube.. Looks like frappe. Oil looks fine in tank. 1977 xlh. Didnt get a picture of spot. Video of idle while cold
All that's left is some wiring, install the magneto and retard cable for the left side internal grip, oil and a filter and she's ready to rip again. 19 days until the 84 & before bike trip around lake Michigan.
