It's been fun discovering all the different flowers in our yard. These are the iris varieties I've found so far.
I saw this iris in a front garden. I have no idea what variety it is.
I felt so overwhelmed by the beauty of this garden, I couldn’t keep what I saw to myself! This is the Iris Garden within the flower park “Parc de Bagatelle” in Paris, France. I live nearby, and I’ve been trying to see it in bloom for years, but I always missed the right moment… not this year!
I got these from a friend. Dug them up from her beds but it was Fall, so I didn't know how many types until they bloomed. The 1st pink has yellow/peach toward the inside, the 2nd pink is all pink. Thank you in advance for help!
The irises spread more and more every year! Love them!
Im in an area where irises arent expected to survive well hence the wait for flowering. I companion planted an arroyo lupine and theres some other stowaways growing in the container, everything is thriving. mom couldnt be happier and neither could i. I covered the irises with some palm frond fibers when the leaves were still cut down so she wouldnt notice them and surprised her and dad with a garden makeover for christmas :]
so far weve had like 7 blooms come up and it looks like more are coming all just from this same plant. its like a fireworks show, it freaking rocks. I love irises. I think these are tall beards?
Some of my grandmother’s beautiful collection! Does anyone recognize any of these ladies and know their names?
I planted three other varieties in different spots in the yard, but they're not doing as well. One rotted away, another grew a bunch of leaves but no flower, and the other one is struggling.

No idea what these are (I was given rhizomes by a neighbor) but I really like them. They smell like grape jelly
The bearded irises in my flower garden are popping off! I can’t take credit for any of it, though. This garden was built by my husband’s late grandmother and she was the one who planted the bulbs. Neither of us have done a thing to them since we bought the house. I just get to kick back and enjoy. 😊
