I have a 17e right now while my main phone is on back order (iphone 15 pro max) decided to try out the air while it arrives

Should I go case-less?

Got my Air yesterday. The thinness and lightness blew me tf away. It’s genuinely impressive. However I can’t STAND having my case on!

I wanna go case-less, but I don’t have AppleCare, and unfortunately it’s too late to get it.

What’s my best option? And from anyone naked, should I join the light-side?

They Finally Fixed the Search Bar for iPhone Air Dynamic Island

Newest Reddit app update has liquid glass and they finally fixed the search bar to account for the lower dynamic island on the iPhone Air. Used to be a minor annoyance every time I opened the app

What to do next with the air?

I just got my iPhone Air yesterday and I am ABSOLUTELY loving it. The display is great, the camera is surprisingly good, and the fact that it is so thin blows me away!

However, I feel like I’m not using it to its fullest potential. Any cool pointers on what to do next to save battery life or just be a cool feature? Thanks.

iPhone Air MagSafe Battery

Hey everyone,

I recently bought an iPhone Air MagSafe Battery, and I’m curious to hear your thoughts about something interesting.

Do you think I can extend my iPhone Air’s battery lifespan if, every morning, I used it together with a fully charged MagSafe Battery Pack so that the external battery keeps the iPhone itself around 90% charge, while most of the power consumption during use is drained from the MagSafe battery instead of the phone’s internal battery?

Hoping there is an Air 2…

I bought the 17 Pro on release but realized it’s… incredibly fragile. I’ve seen the Air is much more durable but what are your guys’ experiences running it caseless? Also, how many screen time hours on average are y’all getting?

MagSafe battery pack questions

How is the Apple MagSafe battery pack? Is it worth buying or should inget a powerbank instead.

I travel a lot and my phone battery drains quick and a lot due to GPS and cellular usage abroad. I was thinking of getting the MagSafe battery pack instead of getting a new powerbank.

How long does it last, how does your phone act with it on, does it heat up while using the phone with the MagSafe battery?

Thoughts on the MagSafe battery pack?

iPhone Air MagSafe Battery Pack

Used this at a wedding recently, was taking a lot of photos and videos on my phone from about 1pm to 11pm, my phone didn’t drop a single percent of charge with this thing on. I was skeptical due to its lower capacity but honestly, this is brilliant. So sleek, did a great job, would recommend for any iPhone Air user.

HELP I charged until 100% yesterday

Hello;
I know charging to 100% damage the battery; it happened yesterday, I set the protective limit Apple used to block the charge to 80 or 90%; but for some reason the Iphone charged to 100%

How much damaged is the phone if it reaches 100% ? Will I be fine ? Will I lose a lot of autonomy ?

It happened just one single time and the phone stayed at 100% about 17-18 minuts untill I notice so I hope the battery is not too damaged.

Is switching from an iPhone 15 Pro to an iPhone Air worth it?

I tried the iPhone Air a few times in the Apple store, and it feels great in hand. Sadly, the lack of macro, 3x telephoto, and ultrawide cameras kind of seems like a dealbreaker. Furthermore, the speakers are mono, and the battery is smaller. I cannot tell if the novelty from the thinness will wear off, and I will be left with a functionally worse device.

What do people who have made a similar switch as the one I am considering think?

Best Buy Sale

I’m currently on a 12 Pro, and its 2ND battery has dropped to 81% health. Current charge is 8% after unplugging at 100% around 1 AM. I haven’t done much since waking up around 4 hours ago, and the phone is already about to die. I’m fed up lol

I’ve been shopping around for a new phone for weeks, and last Monday an unlocked 256 GB Air was on sale for $849 at Best Buy, but only for a few hours. I checked again this morning and it’s the same price til the 25th. I went ahead and put it on AfterPay and I’ll be picking it up after I get off of work. I’m on an MVNO and don’t want my bill to go up, but if you’re on AT&T or Verizon you can get it for $749.

I was going to get a regular 17 or even a 17 Pro, but after reading how so many people like this phone, even those who had a 17 Pro, I went ahead and bought the Air due to the discount making it cost a few bucks more than a regular 17 at Apple. I take a lot of pictures, but I’m definitely not a photographer and rarely even edit the pictures I take. I think I’ll be fine going back to one lens since the rest of the specs of the phone are awesome. Biggest thing I’m excited about is not having to carry around a lightning cable anymore.
