Moft Dynamic Folio with Ipad Air, what does the camera cut out look like?

Saw some reviews on amazon mentioning the same cutout for iPad pro is used on the Ipad air version. (Like the picture uploaded)
Would like to confirm if it is true if anyone has the Ipad Air version.

Wondering if the misaligned ambient light sensor on the iPad Air M3 is normal or a defect.

Hey guys, I just bought a new 11-inch iPad Air M3. Everything seems fine and works perfectly, but as I was checking it out, I noticed the ambient light sensor looks a bit misaligned, shifted slightly upwards. I'm not sure if this is a hardware defect or just normal. I tested the auto-brightness by shining a light on it, and it still adjusts correctly. Has anyone else with this model noticed the same thing, or could anyone with repair experience let me know? If it's a real issue, I'll take it back to the store. Thanks a lot! <3

My iPad Got Bent today..

Hi dear reader, expect some mispelling as i cannot write on my phone that greatly. Anyway my iPad Air M2 is bent, the speakers dont emmit sound and i cant use Apps like Spotify or TikTok so i may have broken the Chip..

What i think i should do:

  1. Try and bend it myself and accept the risk of further damage.

  2. Sell it on the aftermarket like Ebay and buy myself a Laptop like ive been planning to.

  3. Bring it to apple and see what they charge me.

Pro-Tip: I dont have apple care.

Please post a Solution or a answer for me, id appreaciate it and thank you for reading 🙏.

Qual iPad comprar?

  • Vale a pena esticar o orçamento e pegar o Air M3?

Which iPad Air (M2, M3 or M4) should i get?

I've posted the whole situation here in the general ipad sub, if you want to know more about what happened, but basically my Air 5 from 2022 stopped being touch responsive suddenly while using it last week and my best option is to just get a new one.

I'm only looking to get an Air, I listed my very specific needs in the original post. Most importantly, I'm a profesional artist and I need a lightweight iPad with a nice screen (color wise) that runs Procreate and Nomad without any major issue and has a nice longevity. My options are:

  • Another Air 5 10,9" 64GB, refurbished but mint: 355€ plus i wouldn't need a new pencil.
  • Air M2 11", 128Gb, refurbished but mint: 431€ plus apple pencil pro (130-150€)
  • Air M3 11" 128GB, refurbished but mint: 464€ plus apple pencil pro (130-150€)
  • Air M4 11" 128 GB, new from Apple store: 649€ plus apple pencil pro (130-150€)

I don't really think I'm gonna notice the difference between the CPUs, even using Nomad, but I want to get a iPad that lasts as long as possible. I think I'll probably burn the screen again before not being able to update it with any of the M series, but for example I don't know if the price difference between the M2 and the M3 is so low, maybe it's worth to have a newer model.

What do you think I should get given these prices?

iPad Air M3 13“ Camera built in overediting ??

I‘ve been using my iPad air for a couple of months (about 7) now and I‘m completely disappointed with the camera. (I was using the 10th gen ipad before it). It just affects me because im a student and I need to take pictures of the whiteboards often and the ipad air just seems to make it grainy/unreadeable. (For context I always sit in the same spot and both pictures have the same lighting). I have tried multiple 3rd party apps like microsoft lens but it wants me to connect my outlook or smth.. Anyone else with the Same Problem/ someone with a solution? (Mind you both photos are like 10 day apart and you can see the day/night difference) and also dont mind my ipad /whiteboard in german

Does Samsung tablets last long?

I want to buy a tablet for college. I have considered Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 and IPad Air M4, I know these options might be overkill just for college usage, but I really appreciate a high quality screen for watching movies and casually playing some game (not a priority for me), idk maybe minecraft during a long flight. I also would like this Tablet to last at least 5 or 6 years. I know ipads can last these amount of time without any problem, but I have no experience with Samsung devices, so i would like to know if that is the case too. If yall have any recommendations, please tell me :D

Bent ipad

I don’t know if uou can see it but there is a bent part near the charger port of my ipad. It’s not turning on since last month and I’m running out of options. I just bought this last June 2025 but didn’t purchase AppleCare+. When we went to the store they said this is not covered since it is bent.

Any suggestions how I can make this work?

Tried to charge it, reset (press up n down button then hold power button, nothing happened) or is it better off as trash?

Send help TT

Did getting iPhone contribute to the incresement of your iPad usage?

Hi everyone, I have a S25+ and an iPad Air M2 512GB (Not cellular) and I have a question, I face myself not using my iPad a lot and lately while searching I've seen a lot of people saying that they use their iPad way more than the phone, and the phone outside. For people that relate to this, do you have an iPhone? And does not having the cellular version also allows you to accept calls / SMS (iMessage) - Asking this because Im not aware if it works via Wi-Fi or not.

I wanted to use my iPad more at home but sometimes not having all the stuff sync (Like calendar and photos) annoys me, so, if anyone was in this situation the getting an iPhone and linking both devices made you use your iPad more at home compared to your phone?

I need some advice on a case

So I’m planning on buying an IPad 11th gen, but I don’t know what kind of case I want. I thought about just buying a simple trifold case but I am scared the cover flap thingy is gonna be annoying when I’m just holding it playing games.

Is there any one that can share their experience with a trifold case or maybe just give advice on what case to buy?

iPad Air Comparability with android

Hi I currently have a Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra and Google pixel 10 pro. I am considering changing the tab to a 13 iPad Air 13" M4

How do people that have an android phone get on with an iPad? Specifically the following points:

  1. I would like to still use the Google sheets app for spreadsheets backed up to my Google drive

  2. I would like to have the ability to sync my Google keep notes on my phone with my iPad

  3. Are there any issues with Gmail on iPad? I've read that there are issues syncing Gmail with apple mail and emails randomly going missing.

  4. I would like to still have access to my photos backed up to Google photos

  5. Can I use my iPad as a passkey for my Google account (not a deal breaker)

  6. How does logging into different apps/sites play out as I currently mainly just log in with my Google account. Should I use apple account for log in? can I link my Google and apple accounts?

  7. How is the LCD screen on the iPad Air for watching movies indoors and on flights? My Tab S9 Ultra has an OLED so I'm concerned about the downgrade

  8. How are the speakers for listening to music

My reason for considering this is that I have never owned an Apple product and have been on Android since the start. I'm curious to try an Apple device and thought switching my tab would be an easier way than switching to iPhone as a first step.

For background information I use my tablet for email, you tube, YouTube music, Netflix etc, spreadsheets, web browsing and viewing my phone pics on a larger screen

Destiny Rising on iPad Air M4 - warning message for Ultra settings

hi.

I was trying Destiny Rising on my iPad Air (M4) 11" with a controller.

I checked the graphics settings and found there is a Ultra mode, but I get a warning message in red if I try to enable it.

the message says that my device could overheat.

is this message generic or related to my iPad?

I checked online and the game seems to run without problems on iPad Pro with M4 chip.

thanks.

How do I even update ts 😭💔

My storage is so full and I’ve got nothing much on it except a few streaming apps and procreate and stuff. Uninstalled a couple games I had, got 4-5 gb back. I mean the iPad is almost 5 years old.
