Continuing a show in another room?

I can’t try this yet cause I only have a single Apple TV. But for when (or if j/k) the new Apple TV is released…

Can I be watch a show from say paramount + in one room and just send it to another room I am going to without turning off one tv and going to the other one, starting the app, finding the show, and selecting resume?

Years ago I heard of something that would slow a show to follow you through the house automatically (not Apple TV) maybe based on a phone.

The second one looks like it would have a flap to help it keep it closed and slo secure the pencil a little better.
