Genuinely curious—I’ve been seeing a lot of the same issues lately.

Hey i rarely use instagram but when i do i just watch reels and i havent posted in like 8 years, i loaded it up today and it says i got banned for posting explicit photos??? Can someone please help me if you know who i can email or get intouch with, i cant even apeal it! I dont even post on instagram what is going on has anyone else had this happen to them?

I was invited to instagram’s bonus program a few weeks ago and no matter how hard I try, the button just does not work. I have offloaded the app, i have logged in and out, I changed payment methods, updated tax info, contacted support and nothing has worked. They keep sending me notifications to set up and giving me messages telling me how much money I would have earned if I had enabled it, but it’s a glitch on their end and this is just so frustrating. Has anyone experienced this issue and gotten over it?

I’m dealing with a serious issue and hoping someone here (or someone from Meta) can help or point me in the right direction.

My Facebook account (16+ years old) and my Instagram account (@brianpaul__)

were linked through Meta and were recently compromised. During the night, while I was asleep, someone gained access and started making changes. My name and profile picture were altered, and inappropriate content was posted and sent without my knowledge.

Shortly after this activity, both accounts were disabled for violating Meta’s guidelines. I want to be very clear: I did NOT perform any of these actions.

What makes this situation more complex is that both accounts were connected, which likely caused the issue to spread across both platforms.

Additional details:

I still had access at some point, but it was clear someone else was also using my account (likely due to a leaked password)

My device suddenly became “unrecognized,” and I had to re-verify it via email

The content that triggered the ban is something I would never post

I contacted Meta Pro Support and completed identity verification (including video verification). A case was opened (Reference ID: 2197930337634553), and I was told my account was in a recovery process. However, the case was closed, and my account is still showing as permanently disabled.

I also reached a support limit, so I currently can’t open new chats. Even a new account I created was immediately disabled after verification, which makes me think my accounts are being flagged as linked.

At this point I feel completely stuck. I’ve followed all the proper steps, verified my identity, and provided clear signs of a security breach, but I still have no resolution.

If anyone has experienced something similar or knows how to escalate this further within Meta, I would really appreciate your help.

I don’t want to sound like a stalker but I’ve noticed the past few months when I check someone’s following it will not show me them all , same for followers. It’s different to when someone hides their list etc.

For example if they’re following 120, only 12 will load. And the same people for followers if they follow.

I know no one has me blocked because I see the same accounts in their comments and when I see their profile it says they follow them. So I don’t understand how this happens, I’ve updated the app. Just want to see if this happens to someone else and if they fixed it.

I have created an Instagram account some years ago and then didn't use for a long time.

I am trying to access it again in the last couple of days but when trying to complete the login procedure I receive the following message.

If I click on "Get Help Loggin In" I just land on a Help page which does not help much.

I am able to receive the mail for the change of the password, I change it but then I am locked out and I get the error message above.

Do you have suggestion for accessing this account again?
