Was just at Ontario Mills when we saw a 7-8 cops run by and store start locking down when we ran out of there! Someone set the store True Religion on fire!!! So many cops and fire trucks! Driving home to leave the chaos and non stop cop cars and fire trucks keep heading that way!!

Back in January, I posted about a custom script to help solar owners beat SCE's NEM 3.0 rates. First off, a huge thank you to everyone from this community who volunteered to join the alpha test.

People were understandably skeptical back then without hard numbers. With the help of local alpha testers, I spent the last 3 winter months testing my script on real systems and wanted to report back with the actual data.

Here is what I found over the last 3 months:

• The Problem is standard default settings (like Tesla's Powerwall) consistently fail under NEM 3.0. They drain batteries too early, forcing you to buy expensive grid power from peak hours.
• By syncing the battery discharge to your actual home load and local weather forecasts, the script completely stopped that afternoon drain.
• Alpha testers saw utility bill reductions of over $100/month this winter. This should scale up significantly during the upcoming summer AC season.

I’m planning to move from OC to the Inland Empire to be closer to my job near Ontario Airport. I’m looking for safe areas to rent an apartment within about a 20–30 min commute.

Any recommendations on specific neighborhoods or cities I should check out (or avoid)? Also open to general advice about the area since I’m not super familiar with IE.

My question being do I need my REAL ID? or is my normal driver license + permanent card okay?

Just picked up a 2026 Tesla Model Y and I’m trying to figure out the best route for protecting it long-term.

I’m mainly looking into:

• Paint Protection Film (PPF) — probably at least full front, maybe full car depending on cost
• Ceramic coating for easier maintenance and gloss

A few questions:

• Is full front PPF enough or do you regret not doing full body?
• Is it better to do PPF + ceramic together or just stick with one?
• What should I realistically expect to pay for a Model Y?
• Any shops you’d personally trust that do clean work (no edges lifting, good wrap lines, etc.)?

I’m in Rancho cucamonga / Ontario SoCal area but open to driving for quality. I’d rather pay once and do it right than deal with issues later.

Im so annoyed of seeing people saying these fires are due to "non livable wages" Are you guys that fucking lazy and dumb to where yall are rooting for places to burn down WITH PEOPLE INSIDE THE BUILDING??
