Can I beat this fight?

Hiya, I’ve tried this fight about 6 times now on expert and I’m getting my butt handed to me. Is there a better team comp or gear setup that’ll give me a better chance or should I just spend the 60,000 and get it over with?

What to do now

I have started with bronze then only now i have opened 1 gold pack the rest were from console challenge now alot of people recommended i buy gears i bought the 65k pack 2 time it was bad
I have enough money to promote my batman betond witch is 172k what do you guys think
1- promote batman
2- keep buying gear back
3 start buying silver packs ??

What is the easiest way to earn gear?

As the title says. There are a LOT of gear to earn, and very little ways to earn them. If I’m not wrong:

  1. Survivor - for lexcorp, LOA and the SS set. Too dependent on chance
  2. Online - again, need to rank in top 5%, which is quite difficult while earning 1800 per battle and working a full time job lol. Any ways to expedite to 5000 per battle also welcome!
  3. Gear locker - again, a huge bargain, but not worth it imo.

Are there any other ways? Atleast to start off with the 3 star gear pieces (character specific ones)!

The only prize I don't want to get from survivor wheel

The gold is useful for buy-ins, the tickets for the last laugh, the Nth metal for a lot of stuff, Augments for card enhancements, the gears for a chance at the 4 star gear sets, and the other shards are at least not as easy and require a lot of. But this one? Evolve even a 1 star gear and you'll start getting one of em each time you shatter yet only need a few per gear. So when I ended up getting it 3 times in one survivor run...

Keep, Promote, or Sell?

Was hoping for the low chance of a batman from the pack, ended up with his eternal enemy. I already have SS Joker at normal and as seen on the vid, 89k. Should I keep the SS Joker for later on when I have better gears, promote it now because the only character I have with more than 8k damage is The Merciless thereby giving me a second strong card, or sell it for 147k and buy the batman from shop since I need a batman for the BNJ challenge ending in a day?

At the moment I can earn close to 50k from using up the energy from my entire roster in storymode Battle 32 so doing this twice today will allow me to earn the credits I need for batman as well. However I was thinking of using my roster's energy to go up the ranks in Online Battles where I currently sit at 160k. Would I even be able to get to gold before the timer ends or should I just give up on the gear and focus on getting bats instead?
