My baby got neutered today!!

at 9 months.

Had 2/4 previously neutered at 7 months.

Differences I observed:

Expectations: Difficult recovery due to more weight

Reality: Better recovery than the ones neutered younger.

He came out of anaesthesia faster, puked 75% lesser, ambulated & ate well 2x faster.

Bless my child, y'all!! 💖🌸

Adopter blocked me after agreeing to send updates—just want to know if the kitten is okay

A stray cat has been coming to my house for the past 2 years, and recently she had a litter of 3 kittens. I took care of them and made sure they were safe until they were old enough to be adopted.

I found homes for all 3 and tried to be careful with who I gave them to. One adopter seemed genuinely responsible he was sending updates for the first few weeks and everything looked fine. I clearly asked for basic updates like weekly photos or videos during adoption.

Then suddenly he stopped replying. It’s been about 2 weeks of me trying to check in, and now he’s blocked me from multiple numbers, reddit WhatsApp and all…

Honestly, it just makes me sad and angry. I really cared about her, and not knowing anything feels worse than hearing the truth. I just hope she’s fine. And even if something did happen, the least he could do is tell me.

Has anyone else faced something like this?

Is this normal behavior from adopters. How do you deal with it? (I attached her image)

Yesterday was Hazel’s 7th Birthday!

She’s full of blithe and is the goodest girl ever, but if you look at the 6th picture you can tell that she can be diabolical af sometimes and often (read: always) gets her way!

We love her soooo much and we pray for her to have a long life, every moment, every day. 💛

Update on Stray Motherless kittens

After me doing what could be done and bare minimum, I have found a local nearby area lady who has many kittens and does not sell them or anything. She has large patch of land free in her house so she keeps them. She will take care of them. I will also keep visiting them. I have lesser hopes on one kittens survival but yeah let's see.

kitten vomitting bile and won't eat

kitten vomitting bile and won't eat

• Age/Breed: 10 months, Indie

• Weight: 4.5kg

• Symptoms: Frequent vomiting, loss of appetite, lethargy.

• Location: West Delhi/NCR, India.

Hi everyone,

I am a student in Delhi, and I’m reaching out in a state of high stress. My 10-month-old male orange Indie cat (4.5kg) has been vomiting bile for two weeks. The Situation:

He stopped eating his dry food a while ago. Because I am on a strict student budget and can't afford commercial wet food for every meal, I tried to make him homemade food. I bought a mixer-grinder and prepared a blend of boiled chicken, rice, pumpkin, potato, and carrots.

He completely refused the mix and his condition has worsened. While he isn’t totally off food—he will still take small nibbles and a few treats—he refuses his regular meals and even the wet food he used to love.

I am looking for

Any medical advice.

Low cost/NGO vets in west delhi.

financial support.

As a student my finances are exhausted and I cannot afford to get him to a vet.

i can verify and provide his pictures and my ID, if anyone decides to help.

What am I supposed to do

sorry for the rlly blurry video - will try to get a better one later

this cat has been mewing incessantly outside my house for the past 3 days now. it just keeps going around the perimeter of the house and mewing. I (16f) hear it during the night as well. my father assumes she's pregnant but im unsure of even the gender of this kitty.

you can listen to the mewing on the video and tell me if it means something. it sounds like a sad mew.

for context, we have had a lil kitty before in Oct 2025 in this very house this orange car is circling. my kitty died a couple weeks later due to worms (we couldn't get her dewormed on time due to lack of funds) which brings me to my next point.

finances at home are really fkin bad, we won't be able to take care of this cat even if we wanted to. I also live in a really small town and there is no proper veterinary access, but I would try my best.

Are there any rules in this country against pet torture?

Today I witnessed a heart-wrenching incident at a gated society in Gurugram.

This morning I saw a van parked outside my building tower. Few moments later a lady lured a golden retriever puppy, around 6-7 months old outside the building by spreading some pedigree on the road. The puppy was clearly suffering from malnutrition. Then a dog "catcher" stepped out of the van, tied a leash tightly around the puppy and dragged the poor dog mercilessly inside the van. He lifted the dog up in the air by the leash and put him in the van. The puppy was screaming helplessly.

Some residents were bystanders and said nothing. I was amazed to see that some pet owners were also present and did not protest at all. I was the only one who tried to raise a voice, asking the lady to donate her dog to some NGO, if she can't take care of him. She simply gathered some residents and started a huge fight.

I have seen many people in Delhi-NCR, who can't stand pets and pet owners. Some people would adopt a pet for status and afterwards simply leave them on the streets or torture them at home. If you try to take care of stray dogs, feed birds, they will gang up against you. Even if you feed them in an area designated by society for dog pee.

I fed some small birds with seeds and water in the morning on my roof, and they have a problem with that as well. They say that I am putting all the residents' lives in danger if I feed small birds with water. I am starting to hate living in this city. This place is full of pollution and majority of people have no love for nature, no mercy, no logic, no common sense or civic sense.

When will there be some rules against pet torture? Gurugram is full of goons and police is of no help.

Rant end.

Looking for a NGO that can take a stray cat in

Posting on behalf of a friend.

Do you know any animal shelter or ngo?

a stray cat has been staying on our roof with her kittens for about a month. Today, one of the kittens fell down and got injured. We took him to the vet, got an X-ray done, and started medication, but it seems he has a broken bone and there’s no guarantee it will heal properly. Because of this, it might not be possible for us to take care of him for long. I spoke to Sanjay Gandhi hospital but they said they don’t do rescues or provide shelter. They only offer treatment it’s basically like a private hospital and nothing beyond that.

Please suggest some ngo or animal shelter that can take him in.
