No Place for System Abusers

PS - Pl scroll the pics to see, the issue raised to ADANI Internal Higher Ups.

People are selling Adani Airport Lounge QR codes for ₹100 on this very sub. This needs to stop.

Came across a post here where someone is openly selling lounge access QR codes for Adani airports at ₹100 a pop. Max 2 per person, shared on your name. Covers Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Guwahati, Trivandrum, Mangaluru, and Navi Mumbai.

This is straight up misuse of the system.

For those who don't see the issue, when people game lounge access like this, the lounges get overcrowded, quality drops, wait times go up, and eventually the genuine cardholder benefit gets nerfed or killed entirely. We've seen this happen before. I've already flagged this to people at Adani.

The fix is simple - match the traveller's name against the name on the lounge access entitlement. One check. Kills 99% of this misuse instantly.

Super Fix - ASK TO ENTER BOARDING PASS PNR, when the PAX is trying to generate QR. This way only for the person who's flying can get the QR generated.

If you spot similar posts or accounts doing this, report them. Don't let a few bad actors degrade something that genuinely benefits frequent travellers.

Has anyone else faced issues with lounge access via Adani One ?

I was trying to generate a QR for Blr T2 080 Domestic lounge entry, but it’s showing as chargeable, whereas using the physical card usually works fine. On TFS, it’s explicitly saying to use a physical card.

I don’t have my physical card with me right now. Do lounges accept NFC payments like or (tap-to-pay) for access, or is physical card / QR the only way?

Trying to figure out if this is a temporary glitch or if I’m missing something. Any recent experiences?

My fiancé is travelling and she doesn’t have any cards to get access to an international lounge. I do have multiple cards that have international lounge access. Is there a way I can provide lounge access for her at Frankfurt, Germany given that I am not with her? Does giving her priority pass app login help? Any other options?

Lounge access is becoming way more mainstream now - anyone else noticing this?

Over the last couple of years, it feels like airport lounge access has gone from being a niche perk to something a lot more people are actively using.

Earlier, it was mostly limited to frequent flyers or people holding premium credit cards. Now, even mid-tier cards offer complimentary visits, and more travellers seem aware of how to use these benefits. You can see it in how lounges are no longer hidden gems but a regular part of the airport experience for many.

At the same time, the premium segment still feels a bit different. Premium Cards (Amex, Times black and many more) offering unlimited access, smoother entry, or better lounge networks seem to cater to people who travel often and want consistency rather than occasional access. That’s where I think the gap still exists between entry-level benefits and more premium offerings.

Overall, it’s interesting to see how something that once felt exclusive is now becoming part of everyday travel habits.

What's your take, my fellow Sub-redditors?

Hello All

I have Axis Atlas CC. I am planning an international trip from Bangalore. I thought it was obvious that this card would give me access to T2 International 080 lounge. But i see cases where people say its not accepted there and in axis lounge pdf also I didn't see it exactly ( domestic is there).

Also in Priority Pass also , I couldn't see this lounge

So can anyone confirm that we can use Atlas to get into the lounge.?

Thanks

Hello all! If one has Infinia metal card and priority pass card in one’s own name, can these two be used for lounge access entry for self and spouse? Will that be an issue or is there any other way around for this? Can Hoi app help with this?

I am flying domestic from Hyderabad airport this weekend and had a quick question about lounge access.

Someone in my family got the SBI PhonePe Black Select credit card, which I know comes with lounge benefits. I was wondering, is there any way they can generate and share a QR code or some kind of lounge access code with me so I can use it at the Hyderabad airport lounge.

I wont physically have the card with me, so just trying to figure out if there’s any workaround like app-based access, QR sharing, or guest entry options.

TIA

Which airport has great coffee?

Any airport lounge you would suggest has a great coffee in India? I like the food in Air India self owned lounges but not too sure for the coffee

🔴New Rule : No Comment for Selling Lounge

Nowadays sellers are pouncing on every post a user makes for Discussion on the sub. As clarified many times before also this sub is not intended for Lounge Trade. So from now onwards comments like DM for Lounge access or similar content will be removed and multiple violations will lead to ban.

Cards accepted at BLR Arrival lounge T1

Hi all, I am a frequent flyer to and from BLR. Though the departure lounge is sorted with my ICICI EPM card, I don't see this card being eligible for arrival lounge in BLR airport.

Do we know which cards are eligible for the arrival lounge in T1/T2 arrival of BLR airport?

Is there a list somewhere that I can follow?

Generating QR for lounge access at Hyderabad

Hey there, I will be travelling from IXE to VGA with a 2 hour layover in Hyderabad next week. To avoid spending money on expensive airport food, I was thinking of asking my dad to generate a dreamfolks QR using his M4B that I can use to enter the encalm lounge at around 10 am. How viable is this and does this count as abuse of the card, considering there is unlimited guest access? Please provide pointers if possible, thanks.

TFS generated QRs don't work at 080 arrival in BLR

I have tried buying a TFS QR on two different occasions when my flight was landing in Bangalore. On both occasions, the system showed "pass is expired, check in not allowed", even though the website still showed the QR as active

Review: VIP Section at 080 T1 & T2 BLR via EPM

Had a 5-hour layover week before last and hence visited the 080 Lounge at T2 BLR. Got access to the VIP section of the lounge using my EPM, but was disappointed. While the 080 Lounge at T2 is very good (IMO the best lounge in India), the VIP section is just one separate restaurant-like section with a depressingly sad selection of food (I got there around 11 AM). You do get a complimentary drink (can be alcoholic too) but for food they suggest you go to the main buffet which means you need to walk far more than other Lounge users carrying your plate, and for what? Just to sit in a separate section that seems like a restaurant that’s not open for service yet.

Last week I was flying out of T1 and my flight got delayed and so decided to visit the 080 Lounge at T1.

Have visited this lounge twice earlier and have had inconsistent experiences. There can be long queues for entry and some of the staff can be inexplicably rude. Had one terrible experience some months ago after another delayed flight, where I stood in queue for around 15 mins only to be told I had to go to the VIP section queue because my EPM card was eligible for it, and when I went there I was rudely asked what I wanted and was told to go back to the regular queue. When I got rightfully upset at this needlessly crude behavior, they tried to swipe my card there but no machine was working (not my card’s fault). The manager on duty seemed disinterested too. I simply walked out, though in hindsight I should have given him an earful.

So last week went again and was told I could use the VIP section. An executive personally escorts you to the access controlled section. And man, it’s amazing compared to the joke of a VIP section at the 080 Lounge in T2 BLR.

The place is super swanky and has personalised service (first thing they ask if you want still or sparkling water), and you get an à la carte menu with a decent variety of choices. However, that’s where the good part ended. The actual service was horribly slow. It took them 50 minutes to serve me a burger. The burger didn’t look very appetising too (though it tasted fine). The staff were incredibly polite and polished but the wait was real. And this was at a time when the VIP section was almost empty (afternoon). The place looks great and could be one of the best lounges anywhere if they improve the service experience. I have used premium lounges in SFO, EWR, LHR, etc. so have a bit of travel experience.

I believe this VIP section at 080 can be accessed using IndusInd Tiger too. Can anyone confirm that? HDFC cards seem a no-no.
