How would you expand this idea? Art by me

I imagined this world inspired by the little nightmares.

Where people are beekeepers who are surviving on honey for food and materials, but bees are not so happy about that...

This is Vgen challenge submission, but I like the idea and would like to expand it!

52 Weeks, 52 Monsters #16 - Mirelings

This was another challenge monster. The challenge for this one was "Create an enemy humanoid race for a sword-and-sorcery setting that in no way resembles orcs, goblins, trolls, ogres, lizardmen or any other standard fantasy foe, AND is not simply a humanoid animal, AND could be played by live actors without CG."

I kept their enviroment in mind when designing their equipment; they wear crocodile skin armor which is both light and streamlined, so they can swim in it. And all their weapons are made of wood, stone or leather since those don't rust, and where would you get metal in a swamp anyway?

F233 - Terror Beak

This large bird has a black body with a long white tail and a tall, thick neck, with yellow down the throat and back of the neck, black eyes with black lining, and powerful legs with black and yellow claws.

Terror Beaks are very stealthy and can hunt either solo or in packs, and will often have one of them stand out in the open to lure prey into an ambush, so even if you only see one of them you should be cautious.

They usually travel in packs of 6, and while hunting will make a contest out of tormenting their prey before taking them down. The only creatures they typically worry about are large packs of Matted Hunters, and will often avoid any Matted Hunters they see for fear the pack isn’t far behind.
